Well, I am happy to share (wait until you see my Marvel Mystery set!). I think it's cool when collectors share their enjoyment of the hobby with others that have similar passions. Showing the books to my family is nice, but it's just not the same, as they have no real appreciation for books the way we do.
Here's my last Miss Fury, #8 CGC 9.0 Highest Graded Copy.

They may have knocked it down from 8.5 to 8.0 for that. In person the transparency is not so extreme.

Yeah, I use a diamond drill! .
The Mystic #8 is a scan is a xerox which I do keep in a binder, so I can enjoy the covers even though they sit in the bank.

I just came up with a great idea Timely ...............if you send me a beat up copy of a Timely comic book, I will actually own a Timely and then I can join in your thread??
Sounds great, only problem is I don't have any beaters to give.

I xerox all of my comics, that particular scan was of my xerox. The scan presents well considering it's a scan of a xerox of a book in a CGC case inside a well, don't you think? Kinda makes ya wonder how nice it would look naked, doesn't it?!?

Money
bicentenial quarters actually. Fun looking through the spare change for those drummerboys!

Same here, . Also happen to collect those $2 bills. I like to pick up any funky coins that come through the bank that I work at. I am not actively buying any bills or coins, but I have come across a couple hundred wheat pennies from the early 1910's, a 30 or 40 walking liberty half-dollars, a couple buffalo nickels, and even found a silver dollar that dated back to 1893 once.
I had this lady come in my work and show me some "shiney" coins she just got from her friend who works at the bank. ALL the coins were silver proofs that were extracted from proof sets and spent like change (probably some kid stole his dads proof sets and spent the money on candy). I even got Proof Franklin halfs!
She sold them to me at face value! About $10 total.
SCORE!
