  1. The reason I sold them is because I was out of money and out of sources. I bought the remaining MH's that Pat Kochanek and Gary Carter owned. Gerber long sold off his books and John Verzyl was also out. Geppi was not selling his DC's. There are about 1300 DC superhero GA books. I was trying to get them all, but I soon realized that 10 lifetimes would not be enough time to get them and complete the Mile High DC set. I did have own over 200 of them, but with no more money and no more books to buy, I decided to sell.

When you collect MH books, there is only one copy. So If you own Action 1-100 but need # 60 to complete the set, you are stuck, especially if the # 60 is lost, or the owner "Will never" sell it.

I always loved Timelys, the art was always more exciting to me than DC. Now I am trying to complete the 429 Timely set. I still prefer pedigree copies, however now I am not stuck into getting the one and only MH copy.

  2. The reason I have nice books is because growing up from age 14-30 I spent all my free income on high quality GA books. I had low overhead and was able to buy nice books, not to mention I was in the right place at the right time for many purchases. It pays to befriend one of the top dealers in the country!
