  1. You're really making me want to post pictures of my own Chew books so I can feel like part of the gang....maybe if I can figure out how to do it I will. Yesterday I finally added my WD set to the registry for the 1st time and it took me forever to figure out how to get the pics in there, it makes me feel so pathetic. Oh, here's a question since I thought of the registry: When I signed up on the boards, I used a different name than I did when I signed up on the other part of this site - so even though they share the same email addy, my registry name is under "katharath". Is there any way to fix that? Sorry if this question is in the wrong spot, I know it's not a big deal but it irks me. And does anyone have any idea of the timeframe when Chew will be up in the registry?
  2. I read the first ten TPBs but couldn't sit idle while I knew there were issues out there I hadn't read yet so yesterday I went and picked up 61-66 from a couple of LCS's and think that it was very well worth the few extra bucks. Of course when the TPB comes out unless I change my Walking Dead collecting focus to the actual comics I'll buy the new TPB too. Been eyeballing the # 1 9.8s on ebay today and the raw "NMs" and think it's probably a good bargain right now. If the TV series is a hit, then these books will explode in value. You're screwed now. Just smile and take it like a man. Yep. First come the TPBs, then you start playing "catch up" with the recent books, and next thing you know you'll be running around buying up everything from first prints to Serbian copies. At least I know I'm not the only one. How do I explain to my friends and family who aren't comic fans at all that I like WD so much I bought copies in a foreign language? Riddle me that. I was wondering, does anyone (Steve, I would think if anyone it would be you) know the print run on the Serbian WDs? I couldn't find anything from searching online except that they exist. I'm sorry if this has already been asked and answered - I'm curious to know since I'm expecting my copies this week!
  3. But I neeeeed a SS one. And cgc'd. And 9.8. And I don't have any way to make that happen except someone offering one to me for sale. I want someone else to do all the actual work and then just sell me one Seriously though, I did look on ebay and saw them there too, direct from Larry's Comics, but the guy has terrible feedback. I don't want to offend anyone, for all I know he posts around here, obviously I'm a noob. I usually don't buy from anyone with that kind of FB though.
  4. Oh, and Boozad, very nice Chew collection. I have some nice cgc'd Chew books myself but yours are all SS, very cool.
  5. I just had to stick my head in and say "There is an Art of Chew Limited Larry's ed?" I didn't know that, now I need one! And here I thought I was content for the moment. If anyone has a line on an excellent condition copy, please contact me, I'm off to post in the WTB.
  6. KUDOS to MutantKeys for the cool SS Mahnke sketchbook and thanks for my freebies! I love this guy!
  7. Danny, i.e. MutantKeys - thanks for the Art of Chew 9.8 SS and sketched - awesome!!! Kudos Drakeprimeone - I'm jealous of your Chews 1 and 2 - I have them cgc'd 9.8, but not SS
  8. Thank you to pirate for the great Chew Limited Larry's edition 9.8! Fast shipping, well packed.
  9. Ha, yes I was a bit taken aback when I noticed both of my books were from "Danny", I had to check the last names/locations to make sure I was dealing with 2 different people! It was just funny since it was my very first 2 transactions here. DANNY'S ARE THE BEST
  10. Hi, new here and need to give Kudos for 2 great SS books I've acquired recently: Kudos to MutantKeys for WD #63 SS 9.8, signed by Adler and Kirkman on the front and Guillory and Layman on the Chew flip backcover (and a sketch of Tony Chu) - such a cool book! And Kudos to Par2ch for a wonderful WD #10 SS 9.8 by Moore, I love it! Is it customary to go into such detail when giving kudos? I don't know, but I love my new books so I just had to Thanks guys!
  11. I am rather new here and wasn't even aware of this custom until today, so I hope I'm doing this right I would like to give KUDOS to MutantKeys for an awesome copy of WD #63 SS 9.8, (such a cool book signed by 4), secure packaging and great to deal with for my very first time buying here. And: to Par2ch for a great WD #10 SS 9.8, and literally the most secure packaging I have EVER seen! Thanks so much for the great transactions
