  1. He's the Joker (Sinestro) for Green Lantern. I see. Given the rising interest in this issue, is it worth picking up in any grade? It's worth it for flipping and if you are looking of 6.0+ it will cost you 4 to 6 times guide. How about 3.0-4.0? $125-175 is a good range. Cool. Thanks for answering my questions. If you want a nice copy, talk to Rick about his 7.5. (thumbs u Your copy looks nice to too kimik. (thumbs u
  2. Yes, but how many posts are there in this thread when you exclude posts by Showcase22gr1959 and kimik? .....72 ? GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u If you minus my posts...probably equal to AF15 and if I wasn't posting...probably less than AF15 club. Fun estimations kimik 20% showcase22gr1959 20% gator 5% peewee2 5% tth2 2% dikran 2% others 46%

  5. Showcase 23 has been a tough book to locate in 8.0+. Anyone here has one to present?
  6. GL 7 is a volatile book and prices have been all over the map. I agree, Ebay has a wider audience, and books can be sold more quickly. There are quite a bit of GL fans right now to support the prices. GL 7 will no doubt do well when the GL movie releases, but for the long term, SC22 is a better book.
  7. that is right in my $100 a point scale... good find (thumbs u That is insane. Looks like I need to scour the net for low grade copies to slab and flip now. I'm still in the hunt for an upgrade of GL 7 and a GL 76...just still thinking about what grade, price, and when. I think I know where a nice ow, unpressed 7.5 is I'll do some thinking for your copy. Thanks Rick (thumbs u

  9. Showcase 22 CGC 4.0 cream to off-white pages http://www.metropoliscomics.com/load_bookDetails.php?id=334075&set=0
  10. Nice book Nice score! There are always treasures to be found.
  11. Well done on the Showcase 5.0 with great overall appeal. SC23 in 5.0+ is much harder to locate than SC24.
  12. kimik...if you look carefully on the right bottom side there is a light crease, otherwise this book has a shot a 6.5-7.0. I seen many SC22 and the PQ on this copy is blazing fresh and the texture is utmost remarkable. I was just kidding. It is a great looking copy with white pages. (thumbs u Hey kimik, are you still planning to upgrade a copy when the right copy comes along?
  13. Green Lantern says "Welcome to the club".

I seen many SC22 and the PQ on this copy is blazing fresh and the texture is utmost remarkable. I was just kidding. It is a great looking copy with white pages. (thumbs u It's got the cleanest and brightest grays I've seen on a 22 (of course, I've seen grays like that on an AF15 in my safe...) That is a great AF15 you have there sir.
  15. Amazing stats !! Where's the Boardie who said DCs are plentiful with nice PQ ?? Was it Tim (tth2) ? What can I say, I tend to gravitate towards the top 4% of books! Tim, what was the PQ on your BB28 that you recently sold? Just OW, although it was old label. are new labels whiter I wonder if Tim slabbed it or purchased it already slabbed. I bet the PQ is near white in today's slabs... I purchased it slabbed. I think it was one of the earlier books slabbed by CGC. It was already there in the very first Census. I remember being absolutely stunned that there was a 9.4 copy in existence when I saw that first Census. I bet this copy if regraded may have a PQ of off-white to white pages. It's a sharp and stunning copy which will be hard to top.
  16. It sure was my old copy. I've been meaning to e-mail you and let you know... unfortunatly I'm no longer a member of the SC22 club.. I had 15 copies a few month's ago and thought I'd be a lifetime member here... but now I'm all out... so scratch me off the list ( .. but I'll get another one in the future and get back in ) I thought it was....just need to confirm. Hope to see you back in the club again. (thumbs u
  17. You have first dibs... (thumbs u Looks like a solid 5.0. (thumbs u kimik...if you look carefully on the right bottom side there is a light crease, otherwise this book has a shot a 6.5-7.0. I seen many SC22 and the PQ on this copy is blazing fresh and the texture is utmost remarkable.
  18. They were probably afraid CGC would go hard on the married centerfold, clipped coupon, and facsimile cover. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u ...and the rusty staples... I think the best it could be is a 9.0 assuming there are no other defects as jimjum12 mention. If I buy a book raw, I need to see, handle and smell it. ...and taste it !!
  19. I wonder how this copy was so well preserved. First time full flat scan in the Showcase 22 club.
