These pre-robbin Tecs are HOT potatoes. when I first put the 27-225 run together some 5 years ago, I didn't anticipate ever selling...it was all "collector"... but as I have transistioned into collector/dealer/seller, I have realized that procuing the books (the hunt) is every bit as fun and satisfying as owning them...so, I like to put a run together, sell it, and start over ... now, I do have some "keepers" for sure, but not mainstream books like Marvel/Timely or DC's... a fun hobby none the less! Yeah...fun and can get quite expensive. There are books that shall remain in the collection.

I was wondering where that book went. Didn't realize he listed it at auction. Heck, at that price I'd have bid. I know. I was counting on getting interest from buyers who wanted a better copy that the 4.5 on Clink, but could not quite afford the 9.0. Oh well, I should have passed on the bargain to one of you guys. I realize now that I was really being greedy. I was hoping I could have paid for Pierce's delivery, but of course that is not happening. Definatley low for a 6.0. Since there are a few 6.0,6.5 in the market right now, putting a reserve would have been wise. The last 5.5 sold for $3400 and the last different 6.0 selling for less than $3300 was a ow/w which sold over two years ago.

I am watching those along with the 7.0 GL #1. Still have one copy left that I am probably going to sell that does not have the white strip or soiling issues that the copy in the auction has. Hope it does well and a nice non-white strip copy will surface.

A BIG congrats Alex! Well done! Thank you!! Nice to finally have a 31 back in the collection, it's felt "off" since I sold my 2.5 back in January (to fund for this 5.0) Well worth the wait.
