  1. Nice and I bet most of them are white pages.
  2. Looks like there are two strong bids for SC22 6.0. Which one will sell first. http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=411037 http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch.asp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Dshowcase%2B22%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26ItemType%3DCB&id=886993
  3. Don't think, just do Sounds like a good plan...now what grade. Your 5.0 will do.
  4. Hmm.......which book to chase - this one or the Twin Cities 6.5? If you don't mind paying the extra premium for a pedigree and nice appeal. Twin Cites.
  5. Thinking about joining this club.
  6. Cool Here's another http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?id=882935 Date stamped Focussed auction starts tonight Going to be a long 3 weeks. If you prefer not to wait, there's an off-white one that was just listed on Comiclink, this one is in the (buy-it-now) sales section - albeit with a $2400 asking price. http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?id=887055 There's a 6.0 on CL today. (thumbs u http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch.asp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Dbrave%2B28%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26ItemType%3DCB&id=886956
  7. I see the speculative copies have already materialized, so one should use this pull back to add a position. There has been a lot of volume lately, and prices been holding up quite well. SC22 is a great long term potential book. Prices for SC23 and SC24 in 7.5+ has been trading up due to the scarcity factor, so if a nice eye appeal is available, I will add more.
  8. Quite a bit of volume lately in the 2.0-3.0 ish area. On another note, a SC23 7.0 crm/ow sold for over $900 today. I was following that book and I didn't like that thick spine roll. Actually, I predicted the book to end at $900 Way lower than the $1800 i sold mine for last year, which i think resold on CLINK for $1000 recently? EDIT: I see it's still on Clink with BIDS at $1000...it was bougth for $1800,glad i got rid of it when i did. You did very well on that 7.0. Since that was the only high grade copy available publicly in a while, the buyer didn't mind paying a premium. I lucked out on my 7.5 ow not too long after that copy for less.
  9. Quite a bit of volume lately in the 2.0-3.0 ish area. On another note, a SC23 7.0 crm/ow sold for over $900 today. I was following that book and I didn't like that thick spine roll. Actually, I predicted the book to end at $900 Not a bad price...the last 7.0 Savannah white pager which presents much better sold for over $1400.

  11. I have one and only one. Not the most valuable of the first 24 by any stretch, but it sure is purty! That is a one sweet example. Love it. Great colors and definitely nice example.
  12. 3 is second to 13 and 12...there have been only 3 issues of 13 I have seen for sale in the past 6 years or so, 4 copies of 12, and 5 copies of issue 3... that is why I rank them in that order (thumbs u Interesting b/c there are 11 unrestored #13s on the census. And for example only 5 unrestored #9s. naturally # of slabbed copies doesn't always correlate to what is made available in the market. And I am not excluding restored and raw (thumbs u I like your supply and demand analysis. As for certain books like AF15 and a few other HOT GA books, supply may be more abundant...but demand stampedes supply.
  13. Not sure if it was cracked out of a PLOD slab, but the seller does say there is color touch and the cover was cleaned. I wonder if it was trimmed too? Knowing this seller...I bet it is. Does look like this copy has been offered before.
  14. We've missed you Wow! The upward trend resumes Prices looks well supported...with few low grades making new high. I sense with the clearing of mid grade inventory just like AF15 2009,2010...prices will rise again eventually.
