  1. Last month, the last SC4 3.5 sold on CL for $2300,. Based on that sale and the few 4.5s, for $2800.00 the buyer better hope for a 4.0. All and all, the book at $2800 (if 4.0) is full FMV or at least for now.
  2. Agreed, I thought that raw should have warranted a bigger discount. +1 That's a bit too much for that raw copy.
  3. SC22 notable list at 5.0-5.5 will be up next week. (thumbs u
  4. Bad idea. I only own a 4.0 now so it should start there. Well I for one would be opposed to leaving you off the list. Thanks! However, if all goes well with my eBay listings (start tomorrow night) I will no longer be a member of the club by 7:05 pm on Sunday the 13th.
  5. What does everyone think about staring the SC22 notable list at 5.0-5.5 since 5.0 is where the begin point of SC22 being hard to find?
  6. Yes, definitely. I think it's affecting SC23 and 24 also. Anyway high grade 10cts DC are so rare, they MUST be valuable. It's crazy to see AF15 so expensive when you see the number of copy going around DC rules I think I might test the waters with a 7.0 GL #1 on eBay to see what the current market is. Now where is that GL 1 7.0. I will post it to eBay this weekend and see what I can get with a "reasonable" BIN starting price. Your copy should draw interest. I am going to start it out at $2700 and see what happens. That's a good starting point.
  7. Yep...saw that. Old label 5.0 with cream just might be a CR/OW 5.5 and a steal at $3600 Well, if the final price was for an actual sale, then it was a steal at only $3600. The final price was $3700.
  8. Holy mess !!!! That thing is AMAZING! Well done Steve Nice like all your other books.

  10. AF15 cover by Kirby, in my opinion is one of the most classic Marvel SA cover of all time.

  12. I disagree because there are 40x as many AF 15 buyers than SC 22. That's why I continue to add to my DC comic collection. I don't mind paying for short supply, but I really resent paying the prices caused by high demand. Your awesome collection more than make up for the high price demand stuff.
  13. Yep...saw that. Old label 5.0 with cream just might be a CR/OW 5.5 and a steal at $3600 Well, if the final price was for an actual sale, then it was a steal at only $3600. Could be a steal at $4K, $5K. At some point...this beast has to cool off.
  14. Huh?! Don't you mean that both the supply and prices of Marvel Silver Age books dwarf those of DC? Is not the supply of Marvels higher as are the prices? Supply of Marvels are higher and many more are over $100K.
  15. Why not a 8.0 with the SC4...that would be a nice set along with SC22, BB28 8.0's too.
  16. Great to have the collection more complete than just one book. Showcase22gr1959, you finally upgraded your signature line. Nice to see this 8.5 I know some people don't like signature line. I like to change them once in a while since it get's boring time to time. Now, when are you going to display those cool stuff.
  17. Sure but it started almost two years ago...now it seems to have leveled off. I miss the days when you could buy a 9.4 GL 1 for $18K. That's one sweet copy you sold last year Tim...of course not $18K.
  18. Thanks. (thumbs u Would be a pleasure to see you join this club.
  19. Sure but it started almost two years ago...now it seems to have leveled off. The last sale for a 7.0 was late last year for over $2K. Where was that? kryptospidey
  20. From the scan, the Showcase 4 is a soft 6.0.
  21. Great to have the collection more complete than just one book.

  23. Not me only one copy. The current rise on SC22 (pricier) may just do that. SA DC key's prices and supply dwarfs Marvel, so I would think so. Now, Batman and Superman is back in the limelight, the DC enterprise is going out in full force.
  24. Some...compare SC22 and GL1 and AF15 and AMS1. First appearance will always be more demanded. (thumbs u
