  1. I love Green Lantern. Yeah, 6.0+ are real hard to find and how many people are willing to let it go. Here's my top copies again, which I'm going to hold on for a very long time and may only sell one or two if the price is extremely too good.
  2. Now I'm confused. I thought that you thought that we all thought or should think that Showcase 22 was the only important Silver Age book? It's been discuss here that SC4, SC22, and BB28 are the top three SA DC's.
  3. Let's cheer DC's. Well, I don't think it's wrong in this post to talk about SC23 and 24. People who buy a SC22, normaly like Hal and those three books are kind of a set in my mind. I have all three. So for me, people gathering here are the same than the one who likes the SC23 and 24. Congrats on having a set. Too think about it, SC23 and SC24 has been discussed hear a wee bit too much here lately...let's get back to one of the most important SA book.
  4. I forget, is that what it originally sold for? last post.
  5. yes, by the boardie who snatched it off ebay Nice scan now and I wonder if the second buyer had second thoughts. I am pretty sure, it's gonna go for more than 2500$ For sure...but let's see if it breaks $6K for the seller to break even. I would bet less than 4K Makes me wonder...people don't keep books to long these days. What is the buyer at $5400 trying to accomplish...9.2.
  6. this book was posted earlier in this thread last year but I saved the image FantasticFour posted it and according to him, all the 9.6 and 9.8 are white pagers. I don't recall seeing a 9.0 to 9.4 in white pages in the past 2 years...at least not in any of the auctions or Ebay. As far as checking the rest, the only way i know is to use GPA and gets all the cert # and then check them one by one...too much hassle for me I For some reason X1 has was been easy to find in ow/w pages and white pages...must be the good paper. On the other hand, AF15 is less common in white pages.

  8. Does this pertain to HA employees, a 30% discount?
  9. I like the shot you took of your SC22 for the club better than the scan. If you can make a better scan, the club can compare the two much better. Your copy does look better. The CL copy has tanning and lt/crm PQ which hurt that copy.
  10. The Ebay SC22 6.0 listing photos is crappy!
  11. With about a 30% discount on FMV on a key or high profile book is enormous.

  13. That's a sharp 8.5. Maybe there was a tear internally or maybe some stain. But could have been damage in shipping, but it would be best to find out the graders note.
  14. Those are amazing and a lot of Iron Man #9 high grade and White PQ. Well done!
  15. I did see your Avengers 25 9.4 white pager. May I say your collection and Avengers collection are growing exponentially the last few weeks. Congrats!
  16. Right now I would only buy one if I could find it raw and for OSPG. Looking at the $$$ a 6.0+ would set me back, I would rather put that toward a pre-Robin Tec with a Batman cover or an Action under #20 with a Supes cover. (thumbs u Never say never. I agree, those pre-Robin Tec and early Sup covers are really cool and nostalgic to collect. I did recall sometime last year on Ebay, there was a raw SC22 which look 6.0 that went for over $4K. I wonder if that copy ever got graded.
  17. Same here. One of those few book in existence that make one go "Whoa.....Someone has a time machine" I'm still drooling over that "Whoa copy".
  18. The Lewis Wayne Gallery is associated with Heritage in some way. I'm not sure of the details but there is a connection. Very interesting. (thumbs u
  19. And he obviously is just showing his weight around with the auction, for 2X what it sold for only a month ago I hope he is not serious on trying to sell it! It's a nice museum piece. If it end up selling (most likely not) it will be one of the best flip in history.
  20. This had me thinking. I'll make a fun and speculated guess. How many are in collectors hands? I would image there would be 800-1000 How many are in dealers hands? This is a sizzling book for dealers to flip 10-20 copies. How many are for sale at the right price? 700-900 copies How many are not for sale at any price? less than <5 How much does the book have to escalate in value to get more to shake free? 3/4 of AF15's price. Let's do a fun blue label ratio test: 5.0+ Showcase 4 37.12% Showcase 22 29.10% Showcase 22 is more scarce in 5.0+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 6.0+ Showcase 4 5.07% Showcase 22 6.09% Showcase 4 is more scarce in 6.0+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 7.5+ Showcase 4 12.12 % Showcase 22 5.06% Showcase 22 is more scarce in 7.5+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- From the ratio test SC22 is more scarce in 5.0+ SC4 is more scarce in 6.0+ SC22 is more scarce in 7.5+ Here's a more concise way to put that: SC22 is more scarce in 5.0-5.5 SC4 is more scarce from 6.0 to 7.0 SC22 is more scarce in 7.5+ Wow, didn't think of that. (thumbs u
