I was told by someone who used to be very high up at CGC that as long as he was around Stu would not be allowed back. That was over 10 years ago though and that person doesn't work at CGC now.

I've been here for 13 years ( 1 year as a lurker ) and even then people were whining about how this place wasn't as good as it used to be So how long was it actually good for then?

I know several old school boardies in person and many of them don't post here much because some of the membership turns them off. Some of them drifted away from the hobby or to other venues ( social media ) to talk about comics. Some of them really only used this place to sell and still do so privately as opposed to running sales threads. This place is mostly easier to jump in than it was when I started...back then there were people who would actively haze newbies...especially if they came in guns blazing. Heck, the OP used to refer to newbies as "turds".
