Or at least do the 1 Express, and keep bulk in same order as it came in. Right now, they are letting all those bulk orders jump ahead of several that just did bulk grading.
Did a CSG employee tell you all the incoming bulk orders are jumping ahead of the bulk orders that were already at their facility? Or are you just speculating?

Sorry to hear about that MJ. Not to sidetrack this thread, but does CSG charge your CC after the sub is done or when it's logged?
No worries, your CC gets charged when the status enters the grading phase under submission tracking. And you're charged unless you get the label that says SU (Service Unavailable)... otherwise in a case like mine, I was charged.

Nice idea with the poll but I definitely think you posted it in the wrong forum. Maybe hobby talk or sports card grading would have made more sense.

FYI - you may want to consider subbing this one to bcg. PSA sent my #57 as authentic / altered and now I have an 8.5. Mine wasn’t trimmed though just had spent too much time in a screw down. Either way for $125 for a “5-day” (2-3) weeks it is worth a shot
Not saying never say never but trying to stay away from BGS and definitely PSA and SGC. And a huge no to GMA😅

Pretty much. They're literally doing the same thing they did with the trading cards on this side even though it's a mess over there.
Must be new here. They'll get you soon enough.
That was the point. High dollar cards only for them at the moment.
The turnaround was 30 business days in Dec and they charged a lot of us upfront in the other service. Took 85 business to complete the order. A lot of people weren't very happy.
Says 80 for bulk at the moment on sports, so I'd say you're probably right at 6-8 months at least.
Definitely not new here dude. I'm just smart and keep up to date with the latest info.🤙

I just looked again, I spoke too soon, I had mailed it on the 24th and was received (physically, not in their system) by CSG on 3/29. Which means I'm still probably a week out from being entered. I saw a reference to HGA yesterday. By luck, their weekly reset was yesterday also and I snagged a slot for a 10-day turnaround from them for $55. I jumped on it to send a 2010 Bowman Trout Rookie Auto Refractor their way, in hopes to get it back quickly. I had wanted to send it to CSG, but until my Jasson Dominguez refractor auto "canary in a coalmine" turns up as received I am not sending them any more cards.
To each their own. Personally I don't care for HGA, their slabs are just too gimmicky for me. Good luck to you.

Increases were definitely expected and I love their transparency. I'm on board with CSG for the long haul!😁

Yes, USPS tracking shows ours (single card) as being physically received by CSG on 3/24 - but still not received in the system
Which service level did you use?

Thank you for your question! We will make an announcement on our website when we start offering additional label options and designations.
I am definitely looking forward to that as are many others, thank you.

She is an admin for this forum, why would she give you false information?🧐

FYI, their P.O. Box is actually inside their facility. So once you see your package has been delivered, it is actually on site. Going by what it takes for getting Pokemon/MTG cards graded, it takes about 2-3 weeks then to log it into the system as "received".
Was the PO box location information confirmed by a CSG employee?

I have a sub that was picked up at the post office on 3/29 and it still isn't entered either. Not a good look if your trying to compete in my opinion. I understand there is a backlog but I am beginning to think my cards are lost.
For future reference and peace of mind, make sure you get signature confirmation.

Received is not really received is the best way I can describe it. I have a bulk order of 64 cards that were delivered on March 22nd but have not been entered as received yet.
I kind of wish they had a delivered notification that would show they have the package even if they don't get to it for weeks.
I recommend to mail your submission with signature confirmation for peace of mind.

Id sure like one of the two CSG or CGC to start accepting non-sport Marvel, DC, Star Wars, etc. Market is big but I dont see them accepting any new types of cards in the near future. Im sure catchup is what all grading companies are putting all their efforts towards currently.
My thoughts exactly! 💯 Unless you want to see more increased wait times and/or price hikes!

Surprised the pricing didn’t increase along with the turnaround times....that’ll come next...
Hopefully not but I definitely wouldn't be shocked if they did. Still debating whether or not to make one more submission or just wait and see.

I know that is what PSA wants because they upcharge you stuff based on graded value. If it's strictly for insurance then I don't think CSG would pay out hypothetical graded FMV if something happened to the cards. Besides I'm not a professional grader and it's my first time getting anything graded so I'm sure my estimations will be off by two grades. The other problem is there are no comps for CSG graded versions of any cards I submitted and hardly any CSG sales data on ebay yet. So far I'm estimating 75% of the value of similar graded PSA but there really isn't enough data to judge acurately
I hear you. I'm all new to making submissions for grading myself. When in doubt, just check out the link the administrator posted above regarding the declared value policy.

Hi I have a few cards that are in slabs from WCG. I believe they were bought by my grandfather on QVC. They all say they are “10” but looking at them with my naked eye I know there not. I guess my real question is what way should I submit them? Because I want them out of those ugly slabs and into a beautiful CSG slab regardless of the grade.
Currently I believe they are only cross-grading from Beckett, PSA and SGC

I mailed off my submission today. The way I take the wording from CSG is declared value is the value of the raw cards you are sending in for insurance purposes so you can be compensated if something happens to them. So I put down fair market value of raw cards I sent
When I made my submissions, I declared the value on my items as I thought they would grade and based on FMV comps.

Were not the ones who set the rules CSG did. They're were naive from the start. We as the "demand" have nothing to do with it. We all are familiar with the state of the industry but CSG is one who set the terms to attract customers with false hopes...indicating they had their stuff together. They do not. If I sell you a car with a 10 year warranty I'm not allowed to change that to a 4 year warranty before you drive off the lot. I don't think anyway...I'm not a car salesman.
Just keep in mind these estimated turnaround times were in place before the whole PSA fiasco. Good luck with your sub and enjoy your weekend👍

Didn't Express go from 15 Business Days to 30 Business days? Either way this is what I expected would happen with PSA essentially shutting down to new subs and SGC raising their base price to $75 per card. I doubt that CSG is prepared for the volume of material they will now be getting either. My guess is that they will increase the times at all tiers again very soon.
Anyone who never anticipated something like this happening is either very naive or very unfamiliar with the current state of the grading industry 🤷🏻♂️😅

Thank you, that confirms for me that even with the WK on it, it still has to “wait” in line of for being received. I was under the impression that unlimited walkthrough was prioritized and opened when it arrived. That is disappointing to know that unlimited walkthrough had to sit and wait it’s turn.
I disagree. It makes perfect sense. For example, you buy an express pass at an amusement park, several people might have one just like you, but the people with the express pass in front of you will go first. The non-express ticket holders will be allowed in the park as well, but in a staggered fashion of course.

Thanks for letting us know that they're working in grading at least. 20 days of submission progress silence. For all I know my cards were delivered to a gas station across the street.
Make sure you send certified or registered my guy, at least you'll have a peace of mind that it was signed for when received.

With the message in their news section regarding the price hikes/changes coming up, I guess we heard what many of us anticipated. These are definitely interesting times in the hobby and I wish nothing but the best for CSG.
