Can't find submission info my submission
ItismeH replied to KLWalden's topic in Ask CGC Cards – Sports
Not sure if/when you can bump up the service. If I were you, I'd call them up ASAP. -

Just keep in mind, those turnaround times are only estimates given by CSG, and are NOT guaranteed just as they mention on their website. Lots of people tend to forget that. -
I'm in the same boat. Same card, same issue. Go look up my post here in this forum.

Does starting out with bulk submitters make sense?
ItismeH replied to Vintage collector's topic in Sports Card Grading
From what I've been reading here in the chat boards alone, they are already backed up. That didn't stop me from sending my second order with them on the 1st. Hopefully they have some good strategies in place.- 14 replies

- bulk submitters
- long turn around times
- (and 2 more)

So on 4/1 your submission went live into the submission tracking phase? What service level did you choose?
-
Per their website, they open Walkthrough and Express packages first, that might be an explanation.

Most of us appreciate the hard work you guys do. We can only imagine the influx of orders coming in. Thank you, have a great weekend!

Does CSG grade any non sport card?

I think you'd be better off doing research for your cards at http://www.CGCcards.com -

Just wondering, but which service level did you use? -

It says on the their website the turnaround times are NOT guaranteed. Good luck trying to get into HGA and no chance right now with PSA. The freedom to choose is always a good thing. -
Go to your account under submission tracking.

Brace yourselves!🙄😅

My best advice is to go under the grading/submit section on their website, you'll most likely find the answer you're looking for, otherwise it can be answered here in the forum.

All of the included fees were added on such as the online submission fee, shipping fees etc.
-
No problem at all. Under their terms and conditions, I was charged the grading fee, which in my case was $100 for a walkthrough submission.
-
It would definitely not make sense to do that. There would be only one first card ever graded by CSG and that would be the LeBron RC.
-
I trust the graders' expertise along with their tools who have already examined the card and it did not come back to me as questionable authenticity.
-
Most likely an unofficial reprint aka fake. If that's yours, I personally wouldn't submit it.
-
Competition is very good and healthy! In good faith and belief, I personally submitted my grail card to CSG and that was my first submission to any company!

What's wrong with the Ja labels?
-
I am beyond thrilled! Thank you very much for the response!

Definitely choose whatever company, service level or slabs you like most. I recently bought a LeBron card in a CSG slab and it is definitely beautiful and sturdy. I'm in the process of hopefully getting my Jordan RC in a CSG slab. Of course only time will tell how CSG slabs fair in the secondary market. Good luck!

On a side note I've been working with customer service since I've received my order back, via email, who have been very helpful, but I'm just trying to get a definitive answer and solution to my situation.

Hello, I sent in a walkthrough submission of my raw, 1986 Fleer Jordan RC and it was received by CSG at the beginning of March. It came back to me a little over a week ago, not encapsulated, sadly, which was very disappointing. The label it came with was EV (trimmed/altered), I was absolutely bummed since this is my prized card and I purchased it raw from a legitimate seller (local card shop owner) about 5 years ago. My question is if it is still able to be encapsulated with you guys and labeled as authentic altered? Does a submitter have to make that request? As a paid member, I'm still holding out hope that it can be since I enjoy the slabs and do not really want to send to another company and want my card slabbed for a peace of mind. Thanks for listening.
