  1. When is CSG gonna lift the 10 pack per household limit? I just got an order of 500, but I am sending in 500 cards, actually more than that. Would LOVE to see CSG take care of guys like myself that are sending in 1000's of cards a month, by either lifting the limit, OR what would be GREAT customer service- offer to send us BACK or CSG top loaders or top loaders. I WOULD GLAD PAY for shipping!

CSG can tell who is a frequent customer, instead of just tossing away those, do something for your main bulk submitters. HELP THEM, HELP YOU! Would take some of the sting off for amount of time cards are "in slab room", or when packages get "misplaced" at CSG. CSG should know by now, who the heavy hitters are. DO A PERK thing like helping out with top loaders.

THIS WOULD DEFINETLY SET CSG IN DIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER PSA, and really all other grading companies! SET THE BAR HIGHER!

No need for a long speech I have a Express Order Received  a Month Ago & Haven’t been Opened & it’s a all white box with Express written on all 4 sides in Bold Black Lettering!! Have anybody else ran into this issue?

Yes, I have 2 boxes just like there right now. I also had another one, that was marked WK walkthrough that got "lost on wrong pallet for 2 weeks", this was turnaround for that was supposed to 5-7 days.

  3. Has not made a bit of difference in my sales.  No one is impressed that card has 2 sub 10s.. in fact, sub-grades gives the buyer another leverage to talk you down... "it's nice, but has a 9 on corners, will you take $20 off"??

Yes, this is first one I have gotten back like this.  You can see the "wavey" look on back for sure. They don't look as good as they do without penny sleeve.

Posted the Soto below to compare.  The non-penny sleeve looks much better. Ohtani holder was thicker version btw..

lmao what an ignorant comment. If you knew anything about shipping and the USPS tracking system you'd know this is a tracking issue and nothing to do with CSG.

Some of these posts in this thread are just pathetic in their understanding of how the real world works.

Hey stupid- I only have done about 20000 sales. I asked them it was an error on their end. Typicall "know it all" internet jackoff who really knows nothing.  In the real world,  you don't come out of your mom's basement, and you certainly don't talk to people like this. You would have summer teeth. See ya jackoff, I am blocking your stupidity.

OK - don't really get the complaint here (at least as to the flip - I can understand the shipping issue).  Most grading companies have their own format for grading a particular set or subset.  They are not going to customize that portion of the flip or allow submitters to simply dictate how the flip is labeled.  Doing so would result in inconsistencies that collectors would not accept.  Second, the CSG flip seems to have all of the information contained on the PSA flip with the exception of "Day Kickoff" which you don't seem to be complaining about.  Instead, youre upset because the flip contains the addition of "rated rookie" which, frankly, would likely increase the number of hits on your card (such as, for example, if someone simply searched "allen rated rookie auto").  Knowledgeable collectors aren't going to be thrown off by the addition of "rated rookie" on the flip.  Finally, the flip doesn't dictate how you list the card on ebay.  If you don't want to include "rated rookie" so that a listing search would mirror exactly what is on the PSA flip, than leave it out.

I wanted it to match exactly what PSA put on their label, which is what I wrote down. Obviously you don't get the complaint. It's all good card is sold. Moving on.

  7. Yep, same response,  in "slab room".. well guess what? I put a limit on my CC, and I will not pay another dime towards balance until I get some of orders back I have already paid for. I have 800 cards there, they got the 5 express cards done.  I have 1 back. Still don't have my unlimted walk through back from 4 weeks ago. My suggestion is that for everyone. They want paid,  and to hold money for weeks at a time, nope. Do the work, complete the job, and have ready to ship THAT day, and I will pay for everything.  Not  paying $4000 to be told over and over, "in slab room". Must be biggest slab room on the world.

  8. Got 1st card back, label was not even close to what I put into system. I wanted label to match exactly what PSA label said, so card could easily be searched on Ebay and look identical. I fill that out exactly in system, sent a note in the field where you can send a note to "csg" in submission form. Nowhere did I put "Rated Rookie". This is a SSP Panini Day, Next Day Autograph.

So now, do I send card back in, get corrct label, wait another who knows what, or just sell? I have sold this card raw once on Ebay for $632, but buyer did chargeback despite 12 pictures description etc. PSA 8.5 sold for $900-1000..

I am fine with grade, cause there is no 10s, Allen dinged these up when he was signing.. sigh.

Btw- was charged $27 shipping from CSG, actually printed label shipping was $17.25. So CSG is making $9+ off shipping. I have 2 more orders coming back, all could have been included in this package, and would have saved me $50 in shipping.  CSG could try to offer above and beyond service, and combine shipping.  Would rather use the $50, to grade more cards.

The sticker on box also read "received 4/26, due 5/17".. even though I know they got it on 3/25. Take that however you want.

  9. Dear CSG,

Why has my package, that was mailed on the 10th, went back and forth to Tampa and Sarasota, and now is waiting to be received again at SARASOTA facility?? Beyond ridiculous. So many screw ups so far with CSG- lost a package or "was put on wrong" pallet- UNLIMTED WALK THROUGH none the less that sat there for a week on "wrong pallet", not having credit card activated even though I used it ever time for every submit, and then this jacked up deal with this package. Should have been to me already. My packages from Kansas to them get there in 2 days. Not impressed so far. Let's go PSA, open back up.. I'd better be blown away with these slabs.

Walkthrough delivered 4/1 not in system. Called 2 weeks ago and customer service said sometimes walkthroughs and express get missed and for me to call back in a couple weeks. Called today and customer service again verified they accepted delivery and said it should have been opened and entered into the system. Said they would email when they find my cards. Fingers crossed

Same exact thing I was told today. That a supervisor would call ma back, and that it should have been pulled right when it was on the belt line. That they would get it expedited today. Still nothing back from them.

  11.  I talked to customer rep today, since I have a box that was received on 3/24 and they are opening 3/29 stuff. He said, "Sometimes we make human error and boxes get put on the wrong weeks pallets. But we are trying to catch that. Sometimes the boxes bled into the wrong week".. not 100% per verbatim, but close... so, my box got put on wrong weeks pallet. Sigh. And my UNLIMTED walk through, that arrived on Monday, was overlooked and they went and found it today. Supposedly go right in today... still no update on that.

  12. Update on using Unlimited Walk Through,  with 2 day turnaround.

I sent in a package, with a 2 day Unlimited walk through,  the top service. Wanted to test CSG to see if they could delivery on their top level service. Packaged arrived and was signed for on 5/3, 2 days later still not even entered with CSG tracker on CSG page.

    Quick takeaways-

    1. The "track your package" is worthless. Clearly, I know my package is there. The tracker is just another way for them to buy extra time. They aren't gonna enter in your package was received because it starts the clock on them. (Like that matters, since 0 recourse can be taken against CSG.)

    2. If CSG can't actually do a 2 day turnaround,  at top level, that says a lot. I would never pay for that level again. Csg should at least wave the 1% FV if they can't keep up with what they have stated.

If someone pays up for the top level,  that package should go right into the system and be done as stated 2 days working time. Not hold a package for few days, then enter and say "we got it done in 2 days".. no, no you didn't.

Have over 800+ cards at CSG in several orders, and gave them a solid endorsement in my break room. They have not delivered q single card back, have not even graded one.

If they can't take care of customers that pay for top level service, that says alot. Yes, I know PSA can't deliver either.  Have a ton of cards there too, and right now their express level, $300 per card sucks too. Sent one in to test them out as well. Same thing, nothing done. Then they add bulk orders, and skip over Express to not start the "clock".  Like a "clock, turnaround time" matters to any of these companies.

Will let you know when they open and start on this Unlimited Walk through... my advice for now, the 2 day walk through is waste of money, UNLESS you are local, and can drop off in person.

I am tired of sending CSG cards blindly,  with 0 returned cards, I have 600+ there now. So, I went ahead paid all the way up for an Unlimited Walk through on a brand new, freshly pulled Michael Jordan Ntense. (Pictured here) I had bought a bunch of packs, and decided to open them all.  Granted, I understand even "pack fresh" doesn't guarantee a 10. Sent the card in,  saw it was signed for, so I know it has arrived. Box was/is clearly marked "unlimited walk through". According to CSG, that is supposed to be a 2 day service. I will update everyone on this process.

I just want to see a CSG slab myself, in person,  before I keep just sending in orders. I really thought I would have something back from them by now. I have sent in several via Express, Standard, nothing.  I didn't expect the 500 or so Bulk to be back, but at least some express.

So, this transaction will be what I personally will use to decide if I should keep sending in orders to CSG. I have another 465 card order ready to go. But if they are not gonna be any faster, at this point,  might as well hold off on just shipping in stuff. (I have 3500 at PSA, just to be fair for comparison).

    Card and USPS tracking posted.

Btw- when I entered my tracking information in, got the "not delivered or scanned in" response.

CSG- your employee had to sign for package, why can't they scan in as they sign for it?? Would seem that would be perfect time to do that. Especially if it is Unlimited Walk through.  Checking back in 2 days, is more time than turnaround service time posted. (Rhetorical question)

This is the pricing they have listed now. No bulk listed on "new" pricing. Not trying to shock anyone at all.  New info is always good. Seems they are being a bit tougher on their grading now also.

Yeah, wasn't trying to come off like that. Sorry. But, yea, that price list you showed has been around for awhile. Especially on several Facebook pages in card rooms. They don't list bulk there because that is for those that PSA members accounts. They never did list bulk prices.  Only those that had membership levels saw those.

Customer service has a new clarification from management:

The turn times are supposed to be based on day received NOT the day logged. Customer service person said there was a clarification received this week. Supposedly, packages received on specific days are filed away per day. So if USPS says the got package on 3/24 (my date), the turn date should be X business days (depending on service level) from then.

She also said that this notion that putting one express order in same box with rest will not change the turn time on the non-express cards. The box will indeed be opened earlier, but only the ones that you paid more for will be done more quickly.

We'll see if any of this turns out to be true...

I can tell you 100% not true. I have 4 bulk orders from 3/25 not entered. I have an order I placed after that with an express. That order is in system. So my express order, with 1 bulk order, jumped my other 4 packages of bulk only. I just sent in a box today that arrived as Unlimited walk through,  will see what happens there..

I’ve never graded cards with any grading company before, and with all the good things I was hearing about CSG I wanted to give them a chance. I sent my first economy submission to CSG on 04/01 before they changed their lead times. My submission showed on usps tracking that they received it on 04/05. I sent an email on 04/07 checking to see if they received my 4 card submission, and got a response saying “Processing of orders generally runs 2-25 business days from delivery depending on submission volume. We are currently processing deliveries that arrived the week of 3/15/21”. I sent another email on 04/28 because my second 50 card order never showed as being delivered on usps tracking, and my first order never showed up when I entered my tracking on CSG’s tracking screen. I got a response back today saying, “We are currently processing deliveries from the week of 3/15. Thank you for your patience.” Both my orders now show as being received and secured at their facility on CSG’s tracking screen, which is a relief, but neither have been checked in. So it’s been a few weeks since my first email, and they still are processing orders from 3/15. Not what I was expecting for my first grading experience.

Correct. I have several from week of 3/25.. you are gonna be waiting awhile.  Join the party.

Yo CSG did you not learn anything from the PSA disaster?

My 1st order has been sitting at CSG for over 5 WEEKS waiting to be checked in. That is WORSE than PSA has ever been!!  I've tried to be very patient and hold my tongue, I'm used to waiting now.. I have over 10 orders at PSA going back to JUNE 2020! LOL

I'm cool with waiting, I just want a little TRANSPARENCY upfront or UPDATES on wtf is going on. HGA is the ONLY company that is doing a somewhat decent job of managing orders in a timely manner and providing updates weekly. That's what pisses me off the most, its like you see what a failure PSA has been lately and instead of doing things DIFFERENTLY you do THE EXACT SAME THING! "Hey we are about to raise rates, get those orders in! Oh yea we are really backed up too, so it will be a long time before we get to them! THANKS!" Fricking insufficiently_thoughtful_persons

Just call yourself PSA 2.0 and be done with it.

K rant over. Try to innovate and do things different (like HGA), stop following in the footsteps of P.lease S.ubmit A.gain.

No way is it worse than PSA.. i have express orders still not checked in at PSA.  Then they check in my bulk but skip over checking in an express order.. why? Don't want to start clock..  but I do get your point.
