  1. Depending on what grade you are going for issues #21, 39, and 42 are hard to find in 9.4 and above and command serious money even though they are not key issues.
  2. I would agree with this, #1 has been picking up steam the last few months, I would grab one now before prices get more out of hand.
  3. I just finished this run myself, it took over 20 years. It's tough, just try and stay focused on the run, sell off other books if that will help complete this one. I read your original post about your NYX run. Think about it this way, would you rather have a nice NYX run or a solid copy of GSX #1 or X-Men #94?
  4. Ebay shows the book as sold, but he has it back up for sale.
  5. I never found any in the wild. but had a few copies over the years and sold them off to buy bigger books.
  6. Pics are touch to see, but I want to say 7.5. A press would definitely help on this book.
  7. Not sure if this is a legit sale, but a MM #23 CGC 9.8 did huge money. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_nkw=miracleman+23+cgc&_sop=3
  8. Some trades are rare. Predator vs Magnus comes to mind.
  9. The Star Wars book is a great book but has a niche type of interest. Yes, Star Wars has a huge fan base. I love Star Wars, and have a huge vintage toy collection, but have no desire to own the book. Hulk #181 is the definitive book of that age, regardessly of how common in supply or grade. Just because the Star Wars variant is rarer or in short supply does not make it the better or more desired book. AF 15 is out of range for most collectors now, so this is the next biggest key for most collectors.
  10. I would buy a CGC 9.4 Hulk #181 and then buy lesser keys with the potential for a rise, like Nova #1, Ms Marvel #1, Avengers Annual #10.
  11. IMHO all the covers are pretty lackluster for such a historic occasion.
  12. Hey guys, I am relatively new to original art, but I really loved Steve Lightle's artwork on Classic X-men reprints, would love to have him do a commission, does anyone have his contact info, website, etc? Thanks in advance!
  13. It is interesting that the new owner of the X-men #1, that sold on Heritage, is taking offers on the book. Crazy, since is sold 4 days ago.
  14. That is not really that far off, the book two a large jump a few years back, when the Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver were announced for the Avengers movie. Very few high grade copies have sold in the last few years.
  15. Me too, I was hoping that this book was going to go for many more issues.
  16. Did not realize there was that large of a gap.
  17. What he said, you have scammers all over Ebay looking to screw sellers. I would not take the chance of selling it to someone and having them state they received an empty box. Comiclink is definitely the way to go. No chance of anything like that happening there.
  18. I do not think Saga had breaks to that degree but it has not always come out consistently every month. Walking Dead was not delayed but Invincible took the back seat to Walking Dead once the show got running and IMHO it hurt the book. There were large gaps as to when it was coming out, Invincible is ending at #144 and Walking Dead is over #170 and they came out around the same time.
  19. He worked on Uncanny X-Force with Remender and his artwork wasn't as delayed.
