  1. I'm not really a main stream DC collector, but I love the Adams Batman/Tec issues. I've been fighting the sickness of them for years and may finally have to give in.
  2. Wendell purchased an expensive book from me for nearly $3k via time payments. All payments were paid earlier than promised, and he had excellent communication as to when payments would be received. I would not hesitate to sell to him again on any size purchase. Truly a great buyer, and one of the friendliest people I have dealt with on this board.
  3. Someone popped the buy it now on 10 CGC 9.8 copies on ebay last night: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Shadowman-16-1993-CGC-9-8-WP-1st-Appearance-Of-Dr-Mirage-/122088180954?hash=item1c6d05ccda:g:kfcAAOSw-itXs6N4
  4. I just picked up a collection that has about 2,000 or more Dell books with 10 cent and 12 cent prices. Anything, I should be watching out for?
  5. Whatever happened to Showcase New England? I used to see them at shows in the northeast as well as having a large ebay presence, but that seems to have diminished the last few years.
  6. Maybe people outside the USA view it like most of us do, and actually prefer the pence copy of the cents copy.
  7. I hate when they end series at non milestone numbers when they are close to it, couldn't they shoot for 150 issue!
  8. Byrne left, and Claremont's ADD had the run of the place. I do not think that most people realize the amount of influence to the story that Byrne actually contributed.
  9. I think the post Byrne runs are under appreciated for sure, but I would agree that some of the artwork was lackluster, especially Romita.
  10. Do people put more importance on Uncanny X-men #201 or New Mutants 87 for Cable? I think the same would apply here.
  11. I noticed this as well, was going to bring it up but you beat me to it.
  12. That and how often do you actually find them in any kind of decent condition.
  13. I was always surprised how little the actual issues are worth, considering how great the run is to read.
  14. Purchased a Jonah Hex #1 CGC 9.4, great packaging, quick delivery AAA+
  15. I have never seen a Wonder Woman 72 in a shop anywhere which is odd, have found other books on list though.
  16. yeah made me wonder if it is a lost green river copy I was wondering that myself actually. I spoke to the person who submitted the book to CGC, book was from an OO collection out of Ohio, so no Green River, but still a nice book.
  17. Shoot him a message and ask for combined shipping If it is through ebay global shipping where they provide a tracking number when it leaves the USA, you cannot combine shipping.
  18. yeah made me wonder if it is a lost green river copy I was wondering that myself actually.
  19. Several of his allies are characters who’ve been around the Marvel Universe for a long time, such as Terror, Foolkiller, Solo, and Stingray. Read More: Deadpool Gets A Team in 'Deadpool and the Mercs for Money' | http://comicsalliance.com/deadpool-and-the-mercs-for-money-preview/?trackback=tsmclip I''m well aware of the series, and that it's now an ongoing. Just saying that if the 1st appearances of those characters haven't gone up in the last few months, why would they now? Thinking Devil Dinosaur and Weirdworld and their respective crash and burns I am surprised you would think like that. Deadpool is the hottest character around. All those books are dirt cheap. Id jump on any of them at $.50 or $1 its an easy flip in high grade. Give it a few months especially if circulation on that book is a hit. It just seems like, unlike the 1990's, an old character in a new series doesn't get much of a back issue bump unless a TV show or movie is involved. We can fault Marvel's annual reboot for that I suppose. I hope the Deadpool Mercs series takes off, I'm well stocked on the 1st appearance of all 4 Foolkillers, and have multiple copies of Terror Inc #1, St George #2 and Daredevil #305, covering all the bases there. It is unfortunate but books rarely seem to go up because of story arcs anymore.
