  1. bout time , but pwcc response is bs , its all over the place what they do , i personally know someone who was using them to action there cards and was told by Brent at pwcc to bid on there own iems and they would get out bid and he even told them the amount to bid , ive seen the chat and have a screen shot of that convo , as for anyone who bought cards from them they should all file a class action lawsuit against pwcc

I know there has been a ton of questions regarding how long CSG is taking to complete bulk orders, so having my recent 50 card bulk order moved to "Shipped" status, I wanted to put this info out there as reference.

    • Date package was dropped off at CSG facility per USPS tracking: 3/24/2021
    • Date order was marked as "Received" in CSG Submission Tracking: 5/20/2021
    • Date order was marked as "Imaging/Grading" in CSG Submission Tracking: 7/15/2021
    • Date order was marked as "Shipped" in CSG Submission Tracking: 8/12/2021

This order stayed in "Received" status for approximately 7-8 weeks before it moved over to "Grading" status. Once it hit "Grading" status, it moved through to "Shipped" in about 4 weeks. Per the USPS tracking # provided by CSG, the package should be delivered on 8/16/2021.

thats a long time for bulk espically when the turn around time in march was what 60 day or so , but almost 5 months to get them back is crazy based on turn around times when you subbed , but what i learned about gsc they dont care what the turn around time is when you sub your card they will go off whatever the current time is and honestly thats wrong . Hopefully you got some bangers out of your sub for that wait time

Are you 14 years old or something? You clearly have no idea how grading works, esp if you paid 125 to get that graded.

YOU don't set the price that it sells for. The market does. That's why I'm saying your asking price is stupid, esp after the price of cards has come down now. You can get a PSA 9 of this for $40.

    It's your funeral.

    facts

I'll just be happy to be out of this grading mad house. My PSA sub from 9 months ago is almost finished, SGC are all back to me, just waiting on this one from CSG and one more from CGC then I'm back to raw cards 🤣

i dont blame you , i have orders at psa as well and they been in stage 4 for months and ill be happy to get them back by Christmas lol but Sgc im getting orders of 20 to 50 cards backs in 2 to 3 weeks door to door (thats how it should be or with in 90 days total) Sgc is the way to go right now

Paid two weeks ago, but cards are still in the GEI phase. Is this the norm, or are they charging at different intervals for different orders? I originally assumed it would be closer to when they shipped.

Csg is gonna go off what ever the current turn around times are no matter what the turn around times were when you sent your cards , they will sit for a while from what i have found

Look out everyone... The price police are here.

The grading on this alone is $125 (currently) for Walkthrough. You don't get to set the price I want, and you don't get to say I can't recoup what I have invested in this card. Go waste your time doing something else.

you paid 125 to have it graded lol you ripped yourself off tbh

i agree a pop report would be nice BUT if it means taking time away from grading, encapsulating and shipping, then it can wait!

pop report is great but Csg has a lot of work to do , 1. stop giving customers the run around 2. get better with turn around times 3. dont charge for thicker slabs (no one does that but a money hungry company) or for sub grtades or auto grade . With psa shut down Csg has dropped the ball do to those issues ,the only company really doing there thing is SGC and looking at prices that Csg charges looks like sgc is a better option espically if your looking to sell , Sgc are bringing in more money then Csg , Sgc will give me my cards back in a few week Csg will get me my cards back 4 to 6 months so based on that i have sent my cards now to Sgc and lots of other have to , Csg is getting mostly Bulk and economy orders from what the turn around times show , Csg add on fees really are a joke if you sent in a bulk with subs and auto its a 24 dollar price if it needs a thicker slab were at 29 lol if you do enonomy it be 32 or 37 with a thicker slab lolthats a joke  ,Dont get me wrong i like Csg slabs a lot and would like to keep using them but they have alot of work to go before they can even be a top 4 company but for me and cards im looking to sell ima have to go with Sgc cause of way faster turn around and higher resale value .

Just wanted to +1 the CSG undervalued statement. It's not a great time to be a CSG seller but if you're a long-term believer in their grading product you can find Gem Mint 9.5s for as low as 25-30% of what a PSA 10 goes for. That gap will certainly narrow in the years to come.

i have had no problem getting the right price on slabs with or without subgrades , its a double standard as psa and sgc dont use them and the sell fine , sub grades are cool but it shouldnt be a extra charge as the do the sub grades durning the grading process its greed on Csg along with charging for thicker slab ( what other company does that ?. NONE ) again CSG got greedy , they dont honor the turn around times from when your card is submitted they only honor the current turn around time and thats bs , I sent a march sub in and it was a 60 day turn around well just a tad over 4 months later i got my order back smh , I got some great grades and some okay one and a mislabeled slab that im still waiting on CSG to respond to my email about getting it corrected but they havent . Just not a good look on a new company .

No, I haven't.  Still in the Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging stage.

i got my last of my march sub back yesterday , total 131 days and when i subbed the cards till they got back to me , it was a 60 day turn around time when i subbed the cards and they didnt even come close to making that 60 days . I dont think it matter when the turn around time was 60 days when the cards got to them , they held them hostage to what ever the current turn around time was and thats not right , if you sub something at a certain turn around it should be done in that time but what they did and do is whatever cards they have no matter when they get then they will hold them based on whatever there turn around time is currently and thats not good , i love the slabs but they have alot of work to do inside the company if they want to be a major player .

I attended the CSG Academy and at no time were any raw cards touched by any attendee.  Each participant was given a random slabbed card that was marked "Sample" as part of the swag bag we received for attending.  All of the cards used for the Grading Test were also slabbed "Sample" cards.  I take that back, though, each attendee did receive a pack of 2021 Topps cards that we opened as part of a "Pack Wars" activity.  So no, those who attended the academy did not touch yours, or anyone else's, raw cards...just to clear up that concern you expressed.  :)

    20210722_124214.jpg

that clears that part up .

  11. Csg has caught on that we all know when they say cards are in "slab room" it meant they are sitting and not ready to be graded , plenty of ppl have talked about it in group pages and in here and they saw it so the new "thing' they are told to tell us is they are in the safe or vault followed by more lies, including the cards have been graded and waiting to be shipped and we will ship them asap and the cards still sit . Customer service has no clue whats going on and they read scripts , its a sit and wait game . I finally got my March sub back fully after they held 4 cards for "thicker slabs" and only 2 of them came in a thicker slab the other other 2 were in a normal slab so that proved they LIED about 2 of the cards. for all i know maybe they were using the cards that needed "Thicker slabs" at the grading seminar i mean job fair they just held and i hope not cause having random ppl touching your cards adds more chance that they could damage them espically since they arent employees of the company, but really who's cards were they using at the seminar / job fair ?  , but Csg had fed me more lies in 3 months then my kids have .

I sent my cards in and USPS delivered them April 12, scheduled for grading 6/23, when i sent the bulk order in the website stated 60 day turnaround. Now I wish I would have went with SGC or HGA

the turn around should be baded on what it was when you subbed the cards but with it at 154 days or whatever it is they wil most likely hold your cards for that time and thats just wrong if they do , you subbed your cards when it was at a certain turn around time and they should be held to that but they will feed you lies and excuses and scripts . Scg id a go to with 2 to 3 week turn arounds and no one can be that currently , even csg higher priced serviced are weeks behind

    it's over 50 days..still waiting for grad.

you got a ways to go , they have 30 to 40 week turn around for bulk depending on what the current turn around time is , 150 some days is around 31 weeks for bulk

I was also told that card show submissions were sent back to the main office via UPS/Fed Ex. I was under the impression that card reps would deliver the cards back after the show.

How can my cards not be accounted for if they are in the warehouse. By now, 3/13 submissions should have surfaced.

So were they mailed back from the show, or hand delivered. Do I get a tracking number if they were mailed? If they were hand delivered, where were they put or scanned into the system.

Please, I need to know where these cards are sooner that later, which has already passed.

youll never get a response from csg on that in this thread cause they dont care , youll get the run around and never the answer you want . Your best best is to call the customer service number and see what -script they give you .

So if I send in 62 Clemente Cards I should be safe and no problems will occur.  That is my biggest fear is that they lose my order.

youll be find but dont expect a quick turn around , personally for that card i would use sgc for vintage , youll get a bigger return if your looking to sell it then using Csg and thats just facts ..
