  1. Per PM I believe one of my first boards purchases this calendar year! Here's to shaking off the pandemic doldrums and kickstarting the collection goals once again...
  2. Quick shout-out to No. 1 pick recipient and provider of my raffle prize @Barth - despite me picking 49th overall, I got a prize highly-ranked on my own list, his Archie mystery box! Given I won’t be able to get it until I can get down to the family home in the good ol’ USA whenever the border opens, I asked if he could send me some teaser pics of the contents... in addition to a variety of books that will be unveiled at the unboxing, he’s also sending along this trio of very cool Pops comprising the classic love triangle in their ‘50s and ‘60s signature garb. Thank you sir - can’t wait to see everything in person!
  3. Thanks to all the organizers and contributors here! A lot of fun watching and participating quietly... thrilled with my prize and hoping @SpideyFein enjoys what I'll be sending his way!!!
  4. I am not too aware of any of these more modern titles so I will go with @Readcomix's recommendation and claim Bonus Lot 3 to check out Battle Scars. Thanks again!
  5. Awesome stuff! Love that pre-hero JIM and the mini Eternals run.
  6. I'm not sure who to thank, since my SS remained anonymous/did not identify him/herself with the gift. But my suggestions were quite broad and all over the map, including a mention that I'm actually trying to assemble (from essentially zero) a full run of the original Firestorm series and then the Fury of Firestorm series, just for my own reading pleasure. As you can see, my Santa delivered with the key book from all the possibilities therein - a nice higher-grade copy of Firestorm 1, along with a cool SA Batman book, which is also in my collecting wheelhouse. Thanks so much, whoever you are!!!
  7. 49 and a bonus! Fun! I just went through and submitted a form ranked 1-75... will be curious to see where my selected No. 49 actually goes and how (potentially) far up my own list I'll actually be able to pick...
  8. Any other Luke Cage/PMIF books from this collection that you'll be posting?
  9. Ok, here goes - hopefully my contribution is of interest to a few of you. Being stuck up here in the frozen north since March provided the inspiration here, because no doubt some of you in the U.S. are missing visiting us just like we're missing visiting you! Lego GOTG and a "Taste of Canada" box! Lego set 76080: Ayesha's Revenge Men's size L new with tags Captain Canuck T-shirt Captain Canuck 0, 1, 2, & 3 (2016 series by Chapter House) Alpha Flight 1 TMNT no. 71 Montreal Canadiens hockey cover variant by Kevin Eastman, signed by Eastman at 2017 Montreal Comiccon Trio sampler of Canada's finest chocolate bars: Coffee Crisp, Mr. Big, and Wunderbar Just for extra info, the Lego set has been carefully opened and is 100% complete, and almost-new in box... at the original time of purchase my daughter insisted on wanting to see and assemble baby Groot, so she opened package 1 to be able to complete the steps through the assembly of Ayesha and baby Groot (he is the tiny red spec at the bottom center of the photo here) and part of Ayesha's ship before putting everything away again:
  10. I am IN on this after missing out last year. Still poking around determining what to offer, but will confirm shortly!
  11. Mine to give is ready to go... and mine to get arrived today!!! Based on the shape of the package I'm going to guess that it is... a comic book??!?? Can't wait to open it up on the 25th!
  12. My collecting has been severely curtailed this year due to being stuck in Canada and unable to use my U.S. P.O. Box, but I am most certainly IN with the hopes at least a few other boardies participating will be willing to ship North of the border...
  13. This is a fun lot of books for sure. Some underrated stories and art in there; I finally checked off some Curt Swan OA from my want list when I picked up a page from issue No. 30 a few years back. Good luck with the sale!
  14. Supes 206 also. Fun fact I discovered when I looked up this issue: the lead story was written by Jim Shooter and the second one features Mr. Mxyzptlk, one of my all-time favorite Superman "villains" (nuisances?).
