  1. Post a link to your humble apology and I will apologize and meme myself. I've already had to do it once today.
  2. Maybe you should at least be consistent. I just now searched and you do both "all PMs" and "all PM negotiations". But it's your sales thread and your idiotic policy to begin with. It's what caused a kerfuffle when we worked out a deal via PM before someone posted a in the thread and you refused to honor the deal. Not that I have to worry about it as I'll never do business with you again nor will, according to PMs I've gotten, several other people on here. But stick with whatever works out best for you. via Imgflip Meme Maker
  3. Well, then apparently I am a peckernut who came a little too late to the barbecue.
  4. As long as there is a PM where AnkurJ made a deal that has a time stamp before the outright then this deal was done precisely as his rules stated. Reading is fundamental
  5. Pretty much the same way. Sometimes they are happy to see something other than a glossy picture, sometimes they want to look at it or read it (thus the invention of the window bag). And sometimes they are just in signing mode and don't really care. A couple of examples: Ron Perlman - Richie sent me to get a couple of books signed by him at Chicago. He spelled his name wrong on his window bags. Perlman is a super nice guy, but he throws the rough and gruff schtick around some. I get up there and he says "WTF, all these Hellboy books and my name is spelled wrong every time!!!" I told him about Richie, and got my picture taken with me holding the books and Perlman pointing at it with a pissed look on his face. He may or may not have given Rich the finger. He had the whole staff cracking up. Aliens signing: I CAWed an Aliens signing in Indianapolis for Triston in Sept. 2012. There were lots of really nice books, including a couple of Rare Sigourney Weaver Night variants from Celebrity Authentics. I was up all night prepping stuff. Chris Caira had sent a couple of books, and had gotten a book from Richie sort of on a whim. It was not window bagged or anything. I had to pull it out of the stupid bag for all of them. Rico Rossy was the last person to sign it (It was really nice by the way. Aliens #1 v.2) He sees it and freaks out! Grabs it out of my hand and rolls the cover back and starts reading it trying to find out if his character is in it. I was positive he had butchered it, by the time he was done. It still came back 9.8. Mostly they are great, but even when they are not (Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Jackson Bostwick) they at least make for funny stories.
  6. Yes, we all love Doug's droll sense of humor.
  7. His Board name is Rich_Henn. You need to have the underscore to get the PM to go through. You can also PM me and I can send you his email address.
  8. I just want to say that this is one of my favorite threads in a long time. I get as caught up in the spec game as anyone, but it is great to have a thread to talk about story and characters that really mattered at the time they were being produced, and still resonate today.
  9. It is not heating up on ebay, but it is a really good read. It's hard to say why it never had any heat, but I think the big thing was that it was a mini-series.
  10. I think I'm the only person on the forum that reads the damn book, but maybe some love for Witch Doctor It never did manage to find it's audience through two series, but I still really enjoy the world they created. One of the very few minis I'd read monthly. You are not the only one. http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=21183&GSub=628
