  1. Such a shame, was going to post the mediation results there when paypal, the bbb and the bank all did their investigation and made their decision.. ah well.. I think it's far more of a shame that by refusing to own up to your mistake, you've most likely ended up on a bunch of boardies' no-transaction list - hope it was worth it
  2. Andrew Pepoy told me that the artists that did the holograms that went on the covers got commissions based on the sales of the books. He said his check was huge for the time and that one of the guys (Bagley?) put a downpayment on a house with the royalty from the 365 hologram. Was that a misspelling, or is this the guy from Oingo-Boingo? https://www.google.com/search?q=andrew+pepoy&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&channel=sb
  3. All right, j-holes, back on track. Damion Poitier - the guy who played Thanos in the Avengers tease scene! And yes, it was mislabeled "signed by Ron Lim."

  6. He was only $100. If Nebula can get $80, the Hulkster can get $100!
  7. Might as well go back further to Moon Knight # 1 http://www.comiccrusaders.com/defines-comic-characters-1st-appearance/ How could those get any traction at all? Sabah is a pretty common and popular Arabic/Muslim name. Does this mean if someone can find a copy of a book where a character is named "Logan" that could possibly be an even earlier appearance of Wolverine? What about some teenager named Peter in an Atlas monster book? True first appearance of Spider-Man? via Imgflip Meme Maker
  8. Him embracing his own curmudgeon status was marketing genius.
  9. I cannot quantify how stoked I am about this.
  10. CG, This is not directed at you, but why would people buy other people's bulk , knowing that there can be no real detail as to contents, and there can be no chase insertions? If this doesn't kill the mystery box phenomenon, nothing will.
  11. That is great. Looking forward to see what else gets signed by her at Philly this weekend.
