  1. Jill Thompson Sandman. I am still blown away by this sketch.
  2. +1 I bet that giant DC movie adaptation is an absolute beast in high grade.
  3. Rick goes nuts and starts pulling everyone's wisdom teeth out, while singing the Dentist song from the Little Shop of Horrors Musical. Ironic?
  4. Speaking of Crossed, I just read a post-apocalyptic trade called "Sweet-Tooth." It was very good. Anybody else read it? I am going to post in the WTB thread for a #1 to get SS'd.
  5. Dragonquest #1. Dragonquest (1986) and Grips (1986) were both published before Omega (1988.)
  6. Omega was originally touted as the first published Vigil artwork. But I thought subsequently it was determined that Dragonquest may have been published before that. I can't remember.
  7. That is probably equivalent to the nicest copy of that book I've seen in 20 years, so congrats!
  8. Dealin's just another word for Nothin' left to lose Comics, don't mean nothing Boy, but they ain't free Oh feeling good was easy, lord When Bobby sang the blues And feelin' good was good enough for youse, Good enough for you and your Bobby Cruze
  9. Or he could just keep busting his azz at fifteen shows a year and putting out some of the nicest CGC books on the Interwebs. I'd prefer the latter, but either way . . .
  10. Because #1 was reprinted material? Yeah, exactly. It's funny to think now. But the word "reprint" or "reprinted" was the absolute pinnacle of badness in the 80's- early 90's. It literally was like a scarlet letter of badness. A book written by Idi Amin, edited by Hitler, and published by Satan would be better received than a reprint, in the 80's.
  11. It's the name..... I don't think you're the funniest guy on the Boards, but you're pretty damn close.
  12. In the Midwest, those were scoffed at and considered uncollectible at they time they were released. Methnks I may have to track some down.
  13. Since he appeared in issue #48 in the background on pages 16 and 17, you should be asking "Who already owns the first appearance of DAVIDSON?" (thumbs u Tony Moore told me that it was actually DAVIDSON that shot Rick in issue 1.
  14. I have only read up to #71, and i never know what the latest issues are b/c i go and get my mods about once every 90 days. What I want to know is who is going to get OA of the 1st appearance of DAVIDSON?
  15. All 5 there. He was mortified that they even existed. He was like, "Oh my god! I forgot both stamps on those. I can't sell those to you!"
  16. That just might happen. Well, it's the weekend too, so maybe my chances will increase.... Seriously, thanks for sharing the pics. I was also under the impression that there were only 4 or 5 of those, it's good to know. +1 That was what Jeremy said to me @ C2E2. He wanted to destroy them and we wouldn't let him.
  17. I like it as much as Doug likes potatoes.
