  1. should of been a 9.9 Ask Sean or Chainnball how many times those words have come out of my mouth... More times than swear words in an episode of Deadwood.
  2. You need the floppies Sean. And you need the majority in CGC 9.8 too. I'll get the invoice over shorty shortly (thumbs u That's pretty good.
  3. I just read the 1st TPB last night. Chew is quite good. Who would've thunk?
  4. That is one of Seanfingh's top ten sketch covers of all time.
  5. They are tough to find in the wild, though . . .
  6. I went on a Stevensquest on Saturday. I found 7 or 8, but none higher than 9.4 or so. I did rock a sweet 1st print of Trollords for a buck, though. And I thought I had an Eightball #1 for a dollar, but it was a third print. I also got faked out on a Warrior Nun Areala #1. I didn't even know that had been reprinted. But the piece de resistance was a Razor:Torture #0 still in the bag with a copy of Comic Cavalcade's bad Girl books catalogue: CFD #1 $350 Caliber Presents 15 $150 Evil Ernie #1 $500.
  7. There are still CPGs in the wild, folks. Picked up a 1st print 1 and a 1st print 2 today at an LCS.
  8. I've posted this before, but I literally had my pacific presents and Rocketeer Adventure magazines gathered up, rebagged (this was before i knew about window bags) and ready to send to a witness the week of his untimely passing.
  9. Please be advised that the undersigned has been retained by your son, Harrison, for the express purpose of lodging a formal complaint of Crow Set Discrimination. It appears that a Mr. Aaron has received improper benefits by virtue of getting both the 9.8 #2 and the SS #1. My client expects swift and adequate remuneration, preferably upon receipt of the next shipment. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. At your earliest convenience please arrange for delivery to me of a 9.8 next men 21 as my fee. Best regards, --Seanfingh
  10. Great book. I need to get a "Son of the Sun" book SS'd by Rosa.
  11. This is not hyperbole. There are things that I wish I could unsee or unread.
  12. I'm not sure... those analogies might be taking it a bridge too far. Rock music seems to go through a periodic cycle... punk of the '70s reacted to the post-Sgt Peppers art-rock, then the so-called New Wave bands reacted to Disco, then grunge reacted to, well... the Hollywood music video style over-production of the 1980s? And I like Tarantino's stuff, but if he can be credited with a "cinema movement" at all, it would probably better be described as one filled with homages to other movie genres, jokey nerd-culture in-references (as in Denzel Washington's Silver Surfer rant in Tarantino's Crimson Tide -script re-write), and rapid-fire, overlapping dialogue. Ultra-violent (though that's in the eye of the beholder) movies have been around since at least the 1970s. I'm thinking of something like DePalma's Scarface from the early 1980s as probably more of a bell-weather for movie violence than anything Tarantino has done. Yes, ultra violent movies had been around for a while, but had regressed to a slick comfortable style that was 'family friendly' in movies by Sly and Arnold. Until Robocop was released in 1987. It might not seem like it now, but that movie, for the time, was disturbingly violent. It was also successful and even nominated for a couple of Oscars, I believe. Definitely a bell-weather for movie violence.
  13. Well, sorry if a comparison with another horror show on cable was made. I mean, if Mad Men was brought up instead, I could see you having a legitimate gripe with the discussion. But really, how many horror TV shows are out there that last? Especially, one that is being released into the Christmas season after a major recession? ...and from reading your spoiler, it sounds like your bored of the series. Drop it then. I did at #33(it had gotten so ugly), but came back by issue #44(when I understood Kirkman's storytelling skills). I remember people on different forums complaining the series got too campy with the antics Governor and then after issue #48 hit, there was silence and only anticipation for the next issue. To me, this is a story about people trying to make it through a zombie holocaust once society is turned upside down. Kirkman is constantly putting his characters through hell and misery and we as the reader are supposed to connect to their plight as they make it through each obstacle with them. Kirkman is always winding us up for the next "D-day". When that happens, there will be anticipation for the next issue. Like it or leave it. Or better yet, read the Crossed TPB. After reading Crossed, TWD seems like watching Mary Poppins after a three hour Care Bear marathon.
  14. Ordering it right now. I am sorry for the googletard, off the cuff question, but appreciate the answer.
  15. Is there a good JTHM trade? I think I have only read the first four issues.
  16. The #38 and the Ramadan books are so frickin' awesome.
  17. Got my keeper CPG #1 back yesterday:
