  1. +1 The risk is worth the reward if it truly is 9.6-9.8
  2. Those are great. I did several of those in my 1st Bolland sub as well!!
  3. Then zombie Bobby Ewing bites Lori, gets shot by Carl and we're off . . . wonder what the Vegas odds are that Carl ends up killing everybody He could kill everyone and then turn into Galactus. He already has the giant head . . .

  5. It's the other way around - the sketches/sigs are on the interior of the cover, so it would be a blue label by default with the sketches/sigs counting as a defect  Are you sure? I'm asking because I genuinely don't know. I always thought that it'd be Green by default if it was on the cover (inside or out) and blue by default if signed on the splash page. Here's one example that led me to believe the blue labels are reserved for splash pages: It can even be blue with a sig on the outside. Bedrock's San Fransisco MMC with Alex Schomberg's sig on it is a 7.5 Blue. For a while, at the outset of Sig series, it seems like CGC was really up in the air about how to deal with non-witnessed sigs.
  6. I don't know; SSB 2 has kind of a Hamlet 2 vibe to it. But I should trust in Powell's abilities, i suppose.
  7. OK. I got caught up on 73 and 74 last night. Who else is ready for the shizzy to hit the fan!!!!!
  8. Dammit. I was even trying last night. Let's focus on the comics and not the zombie flesh . . .
  9. Here are the 85-86 Charltons I could get my hands on. I have about 1/3 of a short box of them somewhere but . . . Check out the delightful staple placement on this one . . .
  10. is that the little one from Wizard? I don't think so, Dan. Ex-Mutants came out in 1985.
  11. She is a little too old for the character in the comic. But a super slight retcon is no big deal. She looks like the actress from "The Mist," and if that is her, she is a really good actress.
  12. sorry me me badd ok back on topic, how about those Deadworld comics from the 1980`s,especially the gory covers(scarce/rare)? I have been reading these recentaly and wow this VINCE LOCKE is an amazing artist! I put this up there as one of the best copper books that mainstream doesn`t know about. They are awesome, but they are not what I would call rare or scarce even in top grade. They are tougher than a lot of other independents, especially the Apple books, but no more deserving of attention here than the late run Star books, and I still have the boot-heel marks on my throat from the OP for mentioning those . . .
  13. The first part is wrong and the second part is right. There is plenty of interest, there are just huge supplies. Except for the people that are hung up on NM/M copies there are 10-20 copies of every Copper Marvel and DC books for every comic collector still collecting.
  14. Thanks Chuck. I'm coming after you! I finally decided to join the registry. But now I have to dig my books out of storage since most are in the old holders, and I can't read the registration # from my scans. New scans of Bonds25 books . . .
  15. I have enjoyed my 6 years here, I take the good with the bad with the best of them. I plan to stick around for awhile, an those that don't like it can go blow a horse! Any idea how many "Should Wally leave the boards?" FDQ threads there are? Roughly would do, I don't need an exact count. I can't give an exact count, but I did a quick search and found this gem of mine is a Nerf FDQ thread: May this forever haunt me. I forgive you.
  16. Neither. There are good pictures that show the size in the thread that was just started about Motor City buying their former (and now current) employee's TMNT collection.
  17. The Amethyst price variants (just because it is the same as saying Flying_Donut three times in a mirror. He is guaranteed to show up.) The '85-86 Charlton books are not super tough, but they are pretty tough in grade. The last couple issues of the series in the Star line. Not sure about this one, but I bet the last couple issues of the New Universe line are tougher.
