  1. Is there some problem with lowballing? All the Seller has to say is "No." It's not that hard.
  2. are second printings HTF in HG??? One of only two 9.8s.
  3. Kudos to PhiGam for a sweet Invincible #1 and to 50 Cent II (1st) for a sweet copy of Visions #1.
  4. trmoore54 is applauding someone getting a comic book signed? The sky is falling, the sky is falling!!!!!!!
  5. Kudos to Dmac538 for super fast shipping on two post-VCC slabs!
  6. Could it be because they are listed by a dealer, and thus have a perception of being offered elsewhere first? The "stink" of dealer stock...so to speak. No, that can't be it. Well I sure can't explain it. I have sold many books to board members, but always through PMs. Whenever I have listed stuff in the forum selling section it has been the kiss of death. West Texas tumbleweeds blow through my selling threads. Except for that $25 9.6 Lois Lane issue. That was sweet.
  7. ... ...Like your gonna buy anything , Sean ........Bh Sell something good and I will.
  8. Sweet! Here comes the third annual FDQ entrance!
  9. Why? That is the baddest- copy on the planet. So post it and shaddup.
  10. Kudos to the Godfather of Bronze, bronzebruce13, for 6 beautiful HG slabs and a really nice freebie Batman HC. As a relative newb, Bruce's rep as a great guy is well deserved. Thanks again, --Sean.
  11. Junk dumper Elephant humper Superworld checker upper Manitoba first dibs hoarder Doug's grading > Ted's grading Nik's subs to CGC > Your subs
  12. Big kudos to 50 Cent #II (1st). He sold me an absolutely gorgeous copy of American Splendor #1, a book that I never thought I would be able to own in high grade. Very conservatively graded at 8.5, looks 9.4! Thank you, sir. --S.
  13. Andy, if you haven't read the 10 Cent Plague yet, you have to. It has made me really want to dig in to some of the pre-code crime books. --S.
  14. Didn't Angelo just win one the other day? Don't seem all that rare to me. You know nothing! Only 4 have come up for sale in the last two years. It just happened that two came up at once. It's no 9.8 copper X-Men, I know, but still pretty tough! Don't let him spoil the LB Cole goodness, Andy. He's just feeling his oats a little bit.
  15. Because what could be more passive-aggressively self-serving than creating a Probation list and openly flouting it in a forum auction that you have just spent hours railing against. What's not to get?
  16. Oh, wait. It's a freakin auction! 20.00!!! $100.00 to the Heroes Initiative if Radovan piledrives Watson for real.
  17. Sorry? You think this is going to be giving CLink a run for their money? The way I would see it is it's an opportunity to shift stuff for much less than you would list it here for...and potentially taking a bath...with the occasional 'hot' book making you a bit of your losses back. Oh, and it might actually be a bit of fun...although I think rule 6 (a.2) does suggest we keep that sort of thing to an absolute minimum. Sure, that's exactly what I was saying. Obviously I was comparing the CGC Board sales, where books regularly go for 40% to 50% of guide, to CLInk. Glad you made the connection. Link to 60% off guide sales thread, please.
