  1. Is Aunt Agatha gone forever now? I have not see him for awhile. That clown has the distinction of being the only person I have on ignore.

I bet he is lurking out there somewhere, waiting to jump in with giant leaps of outlandish stupidity.

At least I hope he is as he really made me laugh.

  2. Found out that a friend of mine had a brother who is a comic book artist. His name is Justin Greenwood, he's doing the art for Wasteland and I got him to do a sketch for me. Just got it back today. I really like it.

  3. About time we had a bit new blood Andrew. :headbang:

And what was wrong with the old blood :baiting:

There is not much old blood left.

We might get to see a few comic pics on there, what with you still not having a scanner :baiting:

Too busy buying up the comics you have yet to get yer paws on - they are few and far between tho.

    Anyway I don't even have a pc anymore - use a xoom now. This is 2012 y'know.

What the hell is a xoom? (shrug)

What the hell is a ipad :preach:

  4. Killer collection of stuff! Nice representation across the main silver-age titles. (thumbs u

But where are the DC war books?????

I just worked my way through A-Z and tried to cover DC, Marvel, Gold Key & Charlton.

Next time I am off work I will do some war books.

    Very impressive :golfclap:

Moreover you are from UK and for non-US collectors is much more difficult to build this kind of collection.

I am from the UK and it has been and is difficult, much easier since the internet.

Back in the days of catalogs, changing currency & sending cash or American express money orders to some random seller in the US only to find the issue sold or never to hear from him again, used to be worrying.

Luckily 99% of people I dealt with turned out to be honest decent sellers. Thanks guys.

Not only are your runs AMAZING, but to be able to amass such greatness from thousands of miles away and across the Atlantic Ocean....well.....words don't come to mind

Thank you very much, I think that is high praise indeed as I have often drooled over some of the comics that you have posted on these boards, not to mention your sig line. (worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)(worship)

  5. I feel that when someone makes an offer and it's accepted, a deal has been made. 9 hours is a short time period.

Usually there's something about "put up the :takeit: in the thread to seal the deal" ... and conversely if someone else has put up the :takeit: in the thread in the meantime, your deal is null. So it doesn't seem like a done deal to me. Nonetheless, I've never backed out of one, and doubt I ever would.

Now that I think about it, if you're going to bail on an offer before getting a response, you should at least send a further PM stating as much, so the seller doesn't set the comic aside or otherwise inconvenience him/herself.

Thats a point, I never thought of. (thumbs u
