Nice pickups guys! If I wasn't completely broke I would have bid on that TOS #38, and the TTA #2 in particular was a nice book for the grade and the price I thought.
I would be really interested in this TTA #27 (I'm not excited about paying nosebleed prices for a copy of this book) but the price seems to have gotten a little aggressive for a 0.5 IMHO (currently $131). Thoughts?
Its never gonna be a cheap book in any condition, someone always wants it.

If you've sent the emails through eBay, you should be able to prove that you've been pursuing an amicable solution and get any negative feedback removed.
Going back to this for a moment. I have sent one last email regarding this and then its done. I will send the Strange Adventures tomorrow with a printout of his Paypal receipt, if no payment is made after that then it goes through the resolution centre.
I checked his feedback and he has bidded and paid for items which ended 2 days ago, so he must have seen my initial emails from Sunday evening & Wednesday. But still no response.
I wouldnt go to resolution center with the 2nd book, whats the best you can get out of it.
Force him to pay ? get him a warning ? either one of these may get him leaving you the Negative you dont want. I know its the principal, but I would just let it lie and see what he comes up with.
If you dont hear from him again, You can always list the book again later.

Got JIM #83 graded 4.0. Bought it off another boardie called tortoise. Very smooth deal and book arrived safely from across the pond
Show us a scan then.

Well its now Wednesday morning and I have still not had any response to my emails to him.
Each listing I put up as the same blurb at the bottom. i.e. "Please wait for an invoice on multiple purchases" and "you will receive a postage discount on multiple items".
So what should I do... contact him again tomorrow morning? I need to send these books out Friday as I am not going near a post office next week, I'm off work and will be doing other things.
I'm thinking I should just send the one he has paid for with a copy of his PayPal receipt and another note about what has happened.
He has no phone number listed on paypal so other then the email I've already used I cannot contact the guy.
So annoying.
Well, you have tried your best, I would send him what he has paid for and then leave it up to him to chase you.

Yeah, I think he will come good.
I was charged £4.50 postage recently for three comics (after I insisted I would not pay £9!)
er sent them in a plain brown envelope and no backing for 65 p postage through his works post!
Comics were ok though so I felt I could only leave neutral feedback. Nobody has bought a comic from him since.
I would have insisted on a refund of the difference, if not he would have had a Neg from me these days Neil.
I always send an email asking for the comic to be packed with stiff card.
I am sick of people that overcharge for P+P then dont use the extra for protection.

I also have some issues before 1/60. Still looking for a Kid Colt #1.

Great books.

Its probably just a glitch with Paypal, if he has it marked as sent maybe he thinks he has paid. I would ask him to check his PP and let him know that you cant post after Friday.
I think that you will be okay as his feedback suggests hes not a wrong un. Good luck.

Thanks for your interest...my collection is a real cross section of comic books from my
ALL-WINNERS #4 in 1942 to WEIRD-SCIENCE-FANTASY #26 in 1954 with other one-
shots like The ATOMIC THUNDERBOLT #1 from 1946 to KO KOMICS #1 in 1945 and
all in still pretty good shape.

I work weird shifts and dont want any visitors when I am at work.
When you grow up where I am from you learn to be cautious.
Yeah, I agree that it's wise to keep people from knowing that you have valuable items in your home. Where I live though, there is nearly always someone on the farm and we have shotguns.
Shotguns I wont be sneaking in your window looking for comics, Garry

I think a lot of people know that I collect comics, they just dont know to what extent.
I rarely enter into conversation about it, other than very trusted friends.

I keep the fact that I collect comics a secret for the people I work with.
How big is your collection?

I think my collection is upwards of 60000 with probably about 25000 duplicates.
99% of my collection is raw and I like it that way, as I do like to read them aswell.
I am pretty much complete with Marvel maybe need 50 issues or so.
I have most Marvel keys some in great condition and some not so good.
DC, I am complete from about 1958 on, ( again except for about 50 issues ) with most titles that I want to collect and working backover on the impossible task.
Other companies I have in varing amounts, some titles complete some not.
I could definitly do with some upgrades as I went for quantity over quality, back in the day.
