  1. It does. What is the keyboard command? PrtSc What if my keyboard does not have those bottoms? Guess I am not cool enough
  2. Why does PC not have a simply keyboard command. Mac is way easier - and for the record I use both. Not a hater of either.
  3. the best thing about it, was that I got to learn how to screen capture that's cool, how did you do that (I am not very technically savy) On a mac: command shift 3 on pc: look up the program snipping tool
  4. I do? I've hardly been here the past two weeks. your admirer sent this to me, I thought it was a hoot I didn't think it was impossible to admire me. I'll admire you Get a room!!!
  5. "A laughing, fighting young daredevil who scoffs at danger like the legendary Robin Hood whose name and spirit he has adopted... " That's funny -- it seems obvious enough, but in all these years I don't think I ever knew that. I know right? I never connected the two until I read a reprint of this in the 90's and then read an article on Jerry Robinson. I was like oh wow, when I first read it. Never thought of it either! (But didn't Robin Hood use an arrow - so isn't Green Arrow more of a Robin Hood superhero )
  6. A new addition to my low grade Pre-Robin (and Tec 38) Run! Won this guy on eBay for what I consider a steal price. Originally I was only out to complete a Pre-Robin run, but this one was so nice and considerably cheap (My winning bid was 1/2 of my max bid ) - I said why not I'll take a Tec 38! CGC NG (coverless) Restored (Centerfold is trimmed on 1 edge)
  7. The seller picked up something pretty astounding to keep his spirits up. (thumbs u Y'all mean this little old thing? Yeah, what he said. Wowie zowie! Love original art
  8. I am not going to do any resto on this. This one I am keeping for the long haul and want to keep it genuine. Also - the pages don't look tannish from what I can tell. Cream/ow in color at worst but somewhere this is a little brittle area. We were saying in some earlier posts the books pages may be 99% cream/ ow or better and that it only takes 1% (we think spine area) of brittle somewhere to get the "slightly brittle" slapped on for page quality of the whole book. that is true, or the entire spine, or every wrap could be slightly brittle and get SB, or the edges could be ,etc... tough to know without calling cgc or opening and inspecting yourself Very true - just speculation until I (if I) crack it. The Slightly Brittle page quality does not bother me - but it is "slightly" annoying not knowing why. From what I can tell the area maybe the lower left of the spine area that is slightly brittle. Good news is though the book (at least cover wise) is all intact from what I can tell except a little tiny tiny piece is out from the bottom left... Is it just me or does this baby display worlds above its technical grade?

  10. Didn't Jason Ewert do something similar? Is this a joke as well - or did someone actually do that? EXT Resto?
  11. only because of the PQ, which is probably some little spine split somewhere, on an otherwise nice paged copy yah, crack it out Alex, and see if it's likely 99% cr/ow (thumbs u Or the spine may turn to dust but I'm sure it's 99% crm/ow I was thinking about doing it eventually - and re-subbing to get the new case and modern label. (Not for a higher grade - but it would be nice) I am a little scared to crack now though. I have owned very few brittle or slightly brittle books in my time but when I have the books always look darker and on the one brittle book I owned the pages where almost brown. But that is not the case on this Tec 31 - pages look at worst cream/ow but I suspect better. And like you said gator, primetime, and t3quila it may be 99% say cream/ow or better but 1% might be slightly brittle somewhere - surely could be the spine area. It is slightly darker there. might be worth the re-sub..hard to say if the grade or PQ would bump definitely NOT worth paying for a resub....only way slightly brittle pages can go is the same, or south... leave as is (thumbs u Agreed - or what I might do is crack it, carefully remove the brittle portions of the comic, maybe just cut the spine off and then re-submit

  13. First off thank you everyone for your kind words on my two favorite books! Been a long time coming on both and I finally was able to pick up these two earlier this year. I remember looking at a comic book back in the 90's called "Batman Gallery" which is the first time I had really gotten a good look at the Tec 31 cover. Ever since that moment it has been my most sought after Tec and my favorite comic cover and comic image of all. Never thought I would own a Tec 31 since it is so highly sought out and demands so much $$$ The basic equation to purchasing a Tec 31 as we all know is: 1. Finding one at all + 2. Having the funds available to snatch it up I guess the stars aligned this year (availability and money wise) and I was able to pick this baby up. Very very thrilled. My personal grail (Tec 31) was acquired in January and I have never been happier!
