Another one listed on CL for $8K - let's see what it does. The Ebay book had tape on the cover. This one has a detached cover. This book is crazy hot. CL Listing Not for sale but it does make me wonder what my 1.8 would sell for now. I think a resub may get it a 2.0. If both staples are firmly attached and the back has no big stains or pieces out that's a easy 2.0. I'd reslab.

It wasn't that long ago priority mail wasn't automatically tracked. In fact 1st class still isn't unless you pay extra or print out the label with paypal. Paypal adds a tracking number when normally one isn't there.

I sent a comic in on 8/8, 5 day express. They got it last Tuesday. I just called and the nice lady said it was graded this morning, and it's a blue label, and it was in the encapsulation room right now being sealed. Unfortunately she didn't have the grade on the computer yet. Monday grading...

This is really all it comes down to. The timestamp of the "OK." We just learned in the thread in CG that when a PM post is edited the time stamp is unchanged. PM time stamps cannot be trusted. That's not what POV proved. What he showed is that PMs can be edited without showing any indication that they have been edited. In this particular instance, the most I could do is change a timestamped PM to read something different. It could potentially go from "Let me think about it" to "Sure. Done deal!" The time of the PM doesn't change. Here, while I suppose that could happen, I would have no reason to do so considering that I thought the book was mine. Hey hey... I wasn't suggesting anything went down that wasn't kosher with your PMs. I was just responding to a suggested rule change that somehow timestamps would save the day. Since the time stamp on PMs is broken it wouldn't solve everything.

Sometimes the buyer wishes to remain anonymous so the seller must update it and if they are not on for a bit someone might pop in the thread with a then you have to go to time stamp.

+1 If we lived in a perfect world where everyone received their anti-butthurt vaccine when they were kids, the seller should have smiled at the hostile email(s) from the buyer and went ahead and closed the deal, then added him to the "do not sell to list*. But we don't so here we are... When the PL was originally created it was suppose to be a warning for people, a list of buyers and sellers who either out of malice or incompetence couldn't be trusted to complete a deal. These cases in which both sides have some do-do on theirs shoes from stepping in it really annoy me. Sellers who failed to deliver have gotten on the PL and then gotten off it by issuing a full refund. This seller has already issued a full refund. I don't know either of these guys. I see this is another modern pre-order fiasco. My only ever pre-order here ended up in a mess (Comic Supply) but that's another story.
