  1. True. Although, Andrea was sick. Merle was hurt. The chopper pilot was hurt. Maybe he does have some compassion for those that are hurt. The other soldiers seemed healthy and as Chris pointed out, they may have been more of a threat than valuable resources. And it wasn't clear if the Gov offed the chopper pilot. From a psychological curiosity, I'm wondering how he chooses who gets to go into his tank and what the common factor is withing the tanks.
  2. Yeah, that was way too easy. Not one of them even returned fire. They just stood there. Weak. I re-watched this a few time and as far as I could tell, as soon as the Governor fires his shot, it goes into slow motion. I think the whole shootout only took a few seconds, and considering the soldiers had their guard down it was all the time they needed. I think from first to last shot 2-3 seconds? The Governors guys had them locked in, they couldn't do anything. I'm not so sure about not being able to do anything. Overall, there was no perimeter. Guns down in a post-apocalyptic world? I don't think so. The Gov coming up on them like that dressed like Han Solo and all brought no suspicion? He could've been bit. I think the episode was a good one, but this scene portrayed the NG a little weak. The Governor had precise information about their pilot. What else were they suppose to do, say "we don't believe you"? These military guys just got out of a closed community. They have NO idea what kind of people are alive and what they're capable of. He got them to let their guard down so his men surrounding them could open fire. What's so hard to believe? What's hard to believe is the not securing their perimeter and letting their guard down. They're soldiers. They got crept on by "self trained" peeps?

  5. At first I thought it wa just mechanical but then with the gov rolling up just after the crash... Magic bullet(s)? It'd take more than 2 rounds (of even .50 cal) to bring down a Huey. Maybe mr. NotSoNice would be the best to answer that since he is a gunner on airships. And he has flown on quite a number of hueys. Just finished watching the episode again. Amen Julio. How goes it my man? My last post. Need sleep. What up, Gav? How's your tea? Make sure you put that pinky up. p.s. I should just facetime your arse so you can watch the episode.
  6. , saw my quote again. Just edited the original. I meant to say, "I've always posted spoiler tags". My bad. So... What could have brought that chopper down? That's some freakin' talent. I didn't put spoiler tags since it was in the preview from the last episode.
  7. Agreed, it doesn't make sense. It sort of does, though, when people may want to jump in and shoot the shart with the fellas and talk nonsense or catch up on the chatter regarding old episodes. The thread should not exclude that, but it does when Johnny Nalgas chimes in to shoot the shart and reads that Michonne and Andrea had got it on just two days ago. Someone in another part of the world may not have seen it yet. What it comes down to is pretty much exclusion. Like I said, I could care less. I like spoilers. Some may not. People like spoiler tags, some may not. Darned either way. Separate threads or a consensus? I'd rather scroll through spoiler tags than pages of biatchin about it.
  8. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6109158#Post6109158 Doesn't look like people want to look at spoilers judging by the thread above. I could care less about reading them, though some may not like them. I've always posted spoiler tags in the past regardless of what anyone biatches about. Don't like 'em, don't click 'em. Simple. This is getting ridiculous. And thanks to Doug, I spent 1 freakin' minute of my valuable life trying to open the one he posted. Turd.
  9. So one thing that confused me: Then again, no use in reasoning. The -script has been written. Just thought it was odd. I thought it was actually clear at the end. He was the top one, no? We could call it Comic Book Men! edit - just read down and realized someone else had the same idea. Damn! I was actually being facetious about the drama, not the books.

  11. Better than Comic Book Men that's for sure. Indeed. It only took about 5 mins of one episode for me to decide that it wasn't for me.
  12. Sometimes I wonder how some of these threads would fare as reality shows.
  13. Nope. I'll go ahead and share my personal theory about how they are going to bring Tyreese into the show. Not wrapping this in spoilers, as it is merely conjecture on my part, but I have a really strong hunch on this one. Ready? So, what will happen is, T-Dog will get bitten or killed in some fashion and, right before he croaks, there will be some sort of heartfelt interaction between him and another character (probably Rick) in which there will be dialogue along these lines: "We never even knew your real name..." "It's...Tyreese...gurgle..." [Cue loud gnashing of teeth from Internet.] I thought that was a given? Just waiting for their prison hook up and then...his exit.

  16. In looking to prepare for my own (not for zombies obviously), I came across this eBay item. Hilarious marketing in red letters. Enjoy for a little smirk at least. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zombie-Killing-Survival-Lot-of-5-Weapons-Sword-Crossbow-Knife-Machete-Axe-SHTF-/180979403661?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a23368b8d
