  1. Not more violence. Can't take it anymore. I'm going to have to notify the mods... or do another contest to help people chillax.
  2. How many 1st prints do you have? Wow, now that was very Confucius-like insightful.
  3. Not at all. Got blessed with good stuff from SDCC. Thanks to eBay sales, I can do this. My last copy as well. Wish I could hook you up. (thumbs u
  4. Shoot me a PM with your info.
  5. Who are the two sisters, first and last name and who is a righty and who is a lefty? First to post the correct answers wins a hand shake?
  6. Wow, all of a sudden there are crickets when money is not involved. Need at least one more person interested. Sheesh.
  7. So much drugs and violence in this thread.
  8. Race ya.. You win. I bought 1 copy and have yet to read it. With the speculation in this thread alone it is likely the only copy I'll ever own.
  9. Got two more co-workers to pick up the reads and are anxiously awaiting the show's continuance in October. I guess wearing my WD T-shirt to work was odd enought to create interest.
  10. arrived today & they've changed the cover http://www.facebook.com/pages/Spawn/20077338743 Well, that just blows. Was really looking forward to the TWD homage cover.
  11. But seriously how often does that happen? Hardly ever. TWD is a phenomenon that no other series will get close to. There's always talk of movies/TV series of other new books and that fuels speculation in itself. Disagree and agree. How many comic book movies/TV shows have been made already? With TV looking at the success of TWD , I'm concluding that even more interest will be placed at looking into comics for revenue. Smallville was another example of a success based on a comic book character. It's premature to say that "TWD is a phenomenon that no other series will get close to", don't you think? We can't predict the future and that's why I disagree with that statement. How many people do you think may have believed that funny books would have never amounted to anything beyond paper before this media craze? I do agree, though, that "talk" about books getting picked up causes a bump in speculation. That's pretty much a given.
  12. A little premature to claim that, no? It's only been the first issue. How's it a winner with only one issue out? Don't get me wrong, I love the book so far. But with Fatale, it still holds profit in it for issue 1. Even now, 1A is going for $10, 1A signed is going for $20, and 1A SS is going for $75 "roughly". Can't wait to see where the story goes, but like almost every Image 1 that's been coming out, it still runs the risk of burning out speculatively speaking. A book always seems hot when boardies get to hoarding, but only time will tell...unless your, Jeff, of coarse. Yes I agree its premature. I just dont back many horses and I think this one's a winner. All that said we do need about 4 issues to really get an idea of where it goes, but Seeley had a built in audience for this book already and whatever he can leached from WD and other Zombie fans are a bonus. Agreed. I'm part of that audience and await further unravelling.
  13. Well, there's a difference between "big" and "well" also. No?
  14. Unless, a movie or TV show is made out of them for whatever reason.
  15. Indeed, it didn't. But I never saw it as such. It wasn't going to continue either like Revival is supposed to. Personally, I saw the short term return. Not too much invested into it, but enough to make the investment in return and more on top of that. It's a great read so far for me, and others, so I get to enjoy riding the wave while making more than cover on them. And even if it's not at cover, shoot even if they sell for a buck each, that's still a buck in profit.
