Well if we could get sub-forums in the new thread, where each incident would have its own thread, there would be no need for the old Prob Disc to remain active. It could be locked for archival use but new PL/HOS candidate discussions would occur within the relevant sub-topics. It would make searching a heck of a lot easier as well, as one could look for the "offender" name in the Subject Line of the new forum. Again, though, I don't think a corporate owned and run message board is going to start letting Mods single individuals and give them "Scarlet Letters", so to speak, next to their names. There would also be added overhead for hem keeping track of or being PMd to remove the stigmata if a case is resolved and someone is removed. I can see your point POV... just seems that a corporate thread that can issue a strike on an individual who breaks board policy shouldn't have a problem branding a single individual as HOS or PL candidate. Plus can't see that as much of increase in workload... how many added in the last few months? Two... maybe three? I do know its hard to run a multi-page thread and try to keep checking for HOS/PL members who post in the thread. I'm for anything to make it easier.

We've got a Probation Discussions thread and a General thread already. Why one more? If Arch is going to put time into this... then maybe they could mark offending PL & HOS listers accounts so we won't have to search the lists and would know immediatly when they post. Arch/Mods don't have to be "involved" in monetary transactions as others have noted this action would be... all Arch has to do is help identify trouble makers that were deemed that way by the community. Just saying...

I agree. Having family/money problems is no excuse for behaving this way. I must also agree. Rupp is taking back his from the other day concerning this guy. If he doesn't care... and its obvious he doesn't... then get him out of here.

I think the problem with this is something I referenced earlier. By agreeing to let a PL person buy from you the deal hoses the boardie with the transaction that was never completed. Kind of an aiding and abetting thing in my mind. For example...I on $100 worth of stuff from Rupp. I fail to pay, get thrown on the PL and reside there for a few months. After the hubbub dies down, I quietly attempt to buy things by PM from folks. I think a seller that takes the funds knowing I am on the list is essentially taking funds that should rightfully go to the original seller (Rupp) that I failed to complete the transaction with. I had the ability to correct matters, but by selling to me while I am on the PL we allow the original issue to carry over Biatch-azz Snake betta have my money ! Here's a suggestion... Since Arch/Mods pretty much have the power to put quotes up themselves (as the recent large font fiasco proved in RMA's post... ...well why can't when a boardie goes on either list, the Arch can't just put a big ole "HOS" or "PL" next to the boardies name or in a large font in their sig line. That way, each and every time that boardie posts, his HOS or PL designation is easily seen. When they make right, the Arch just has to remove the 'brand" just like we would remove them from the HOS or PL list. Seems easy to me
