This could be a lot better with a little work (most are in pretty shabby condition).

I am a big fan of the golden age Flash but he has always taken 3rd or 4th place behind Batman, Superman and Green Lantern.

Quite fond of the fastest man alive myself!

Love the Tec 31 in the back row too :luhv:

  3. I picked up my 11th Planet the other day, so it motivated me to take a group shot.

On a side note, it is difficult to take a picture of more than 2 books so I have a new appreciation for most of the great pictures taken in this thread.

Great books! Once upon a time I ventured to put that run together but I got side tracked by about ten other titles! lol

Good luck with the run, it's a great title!

  4. Since I was able to pick up Silver Streak #8 from my pal Larry at last weekends' BBQ at Todd's house, I thought a small group shot of the three issues I have was in order

Awesome books! The 6 is one of my all time favorites and you just can't beat those Claw covers, all classics!

  5. Now the fun part. I bought it as a 4.5 (and paid dreadfully for it) and was told there was some fresh tape due to some spine splitting. Turns out, the cover is detached and fully split. Only the tape is keeping it in one piece and attached to the book. With CGC's ludicrous tape bump, it might get a 1.8. Without the tape, a 1.0. The book is so precarious I can't even open it up to read it before mailing it back. I'm not sure that the centerfold wasn't loose and reattached when the cover was put back on.

Sucky bummer mixed with a bit of pissed off.

That is definitely a bummer, not the kind of surprise you like to find. Aggravation as much as disappointment
