Picked this bad boy up last week from Sparkle City. Couldn't be happier. The staple replacement doesn't bother me. Presents very nicely.

Although the label doesn't indicate it, the cover is by Matt Baker, as is the art on one of the stories. Tough to find Bakers in high grade.

I am trying to decide whether to obtain a copy of Batman #49, where the Joker is mentioned on the cover, but is not really in the comic book.

 

The Joker is more than mentioned on the cover of Bat #49, he's the center of attention, and does appear in a 12-page story. This book is also the first appearance of Vicki Vale and The Mad Hatter...

Finally got it in. This one is signed by Jerry on the first page and from his private collection. I know it's not a high grade or white pages but it's a book that I'll always cherish being a Batman fanatic.
