  1. I agree with ASM 361. ASM 300 and I think NM87 as well. But there is no scrying glass, just hope. You never know what will take off, maybe the Hulu cartoons are huge and in 10 years Modok reigns supreme!!!
  2. The end of WW was horrible, once they left the war scenes and dealt with Ares it was just bad. Yet another comic book movie ending full of swirling dust and debris.
  3. This is what I thought immediately upon reading this post
  4. I can’t believe you even know where you saw the book in which thread although I guess Rick has things that most people don’t I can never remember where I saw a book
  5. Like I said earlier, huge markups seem to work for him. He isn't the only one doing it, he just does it on a larger scale as he admits. It just seems unseemly to me with the large $ amounts. But if you do it and get what you ask then that is tremendously reinforcing and leads to doing it more. As we can see.
  6. I think he was addressing the high markup from buying it at $901 on ebay and selling it at $1350 here. I too have noticed this high % yield in a book purchased in the last few months at $5750 and offered here at $6750. He seems to do well enough here, so maybe I am doing it wrong.
  7. Nine slabs left, priced at $590 individually. Take all 9 for $555 shipped in the US!
  8. I started threads in both C/M and G/S/B yesterday with some lower priced slabs. A few have sold already (thank you!) but if anyone wants a few I will do a deal. I have prices up for all the remaining ones in each thread, so decent margins on mini-keys available for sellers.
  9. I looked around but the only thread I thought that it might be had a zillion books, so no luck figuring it out from there either!
  10. I’ve been buying and selling comics now for a few years and yet I’m still continually surprised at what sells and what doesn’t. I know it’s often the function of the price and the venue but it seems every day brings a new surprise . For instance early in the month I bought a box off an auction house, I bought the box for the dark Knight returns first print paper back and the complete V for Vendetta set in high-grade and they remain in my collection still. And yet from that same box I have sold the sealed Dracula one to four set, the signed Batman dark joker the wild hardcover, and the three tales from the crypt reprints which have more than paid for the whole box !!! In fact they paid for the box two times over So I’m not complaining I’m just surprised
  11. They were with Joey post and should hit cgc any day now. I am fairly certain they are newsstands as the last five issues or so supposedly has newsstand distribution Hopefully cgc designates them as such I have 1 74 and 2 75s going in
  12. Head...swimming...must not...thread...krap...about crazy prices...and gpa quotes!
  13. Done! (here it is for all to see as well.) and its' brother
  14. I have made two trades so far and they worked out fairly well I guess. I would have a better opinion of one if the Marvel Two-In-One Annual 2 9.4 slab would sell in my sales thread I started today!
  15. Yes, turned me right off. He was also telling me that ASM 301 CGC 9.4 is a $50 book...gpa last sale is $75 and 12 month avg is $95 for 58 sales. And him with his $100 Next Men 21 raw 8.0! It is entertaining now but it was annoying before I got settled in and understood the social norms there.
