I think that Wolverine album cover painting looks like Mark Texeira to me, but I could see Fabry as well.

Glad to see you found the gatekeeper, keymaster! You make Zool proud. I cannot imagine what it would be like to hit a motherload like that. When I saw the art it would be like all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light. Killer job, and very nice art. In other words, let's say a Twinkie represents the normal amount of energy in an original art acquisition. Based on this art's sample, it would be a Twinkie... thirty-five feet long, weighing approximately six hundred pounds.
okay, I will stop now

Thanks LBJ. It is the 2nd page I have been able to acquire from The Golden Age, and what a page it is. Captain Comet takes one square in the family jewels! And it is so cool to me that I, a huge Starman fan, get a page with the cosmic rod on it.

The Golden Age, written by James Robinson with art by Paul Smith. I never noticed that little signature in the grass in the last panel until just now. huh

Thank you thankyou. I agree, I am so glad to own it.

I got this finally after paying for it for a few months. Colan/Palmer Tomb of Dracula 44 splash

Hey, they laughed at Sim too and he got there, didn't he? He did crawl there, but he got there all the same.

Thank you sir! :hail:
No sweat. If you want it done you'd better remind me in March though.

\\Mark is going to be at a convention here in NJ on March 30. I think I will go. Mark and I have a good "con" relationship, he knows me and we laugh about a wonderful McNiven cover I once passed on (The Steranko Jessica Jones cover) that he will no longer sell. $1200 and I passed! D'OH! Anyway, if you PM me and remind me I will ask him about it directly and pass along any info I can acquire.Hey guys,Looking for this one, anyone know where this is located?
It's from Fraction and Coipel Mighty Thor issue #2 page 1
Cheers,
Troy
Sent a message to Coipel and Kwan, no luck. Someone has to have it.

This week I got a drawing of Kingdom Come Batwoman by Arthur Adams.
That is just crazy, and crazy cool!

Superman's all "Look how easily I broke this mess!"
I love those legs on Sarge. The sideways slashes, they give such a great effect of movement.

Hey, it looks better here than in person!
no not really but I love my art on the computer screen, don't you? It can be so clean and sharp.
-
I got this today

Most negotiation experts say always wait for the other guy to speak first, and always wait for the other guy to give a number first. I myself do not always follow this but it is sound advice in general.

I bought this yesterday at Roger Clark's annual New Year's Eve sale. It won't be in hand for a bit, but...
1999 Millenium's Eve concert poster art for Rat Dog / Planet Drum / Hot Tuna.

I like the changes form pencils to inks. modesty's closed eyes are so much better. And that shirt is awesome. Really a stellar piece.
-
That is friggin' awesome. Great inking! Congrats!

another awesome Andy Mac art attack!
Andy MacDonald, whose most recent work is an adaptation of James Patterson's ZOO and is available through AMAzon so go get it already, sent me this awesome commission he couldn't get to at NYCC.
Thank you Andrew!

Art often changes its' appearance after they buy it. Until you ask or see the art in person it is difficult to determine what has been done. stats, restorations, from this observer's perspective all seems to be in play. I have had (what turned out to be) unfounded fears in the past, but after hearing that tale above about the Swan I would assume NOTHING from now on. The art sure looks better afterwards but the steps taken to get there need to be more clear. The degree of disclosure in that Swan story seems to be the exception and not the rule in my experience as well.
-
they add art on overlays, it often is not apparent. But I would confirm that it is an overlay before buying and that the art has not been altered

Thanks to RGL for these cool PMS pinups.
and I got this beautiful thing from Kirk Dilbeck. I may have overpaid but he didn;t have to twist my arm or anything. I wanted it at any cost. yeah, stupid I know but I like it. And some things SHOULD be mine, really. We all know it. coughcoughMANRICOcoughcough

Heroic boradie jeBailey hooked this up for me!!!
I've never seen Bernie in any NYC-area show, but John offered to check out his wares at the Charlotte show the other weekend. Charlotte? I think it was Charlotte, yeah. At any rate, he went through Bernie's stuff, took pics and sent them to me, and ultimately fronted me the full cost of this beauty! (worship)
And, now that I think about it, he paid for shipping too! John, I owe you one. Thanks tons man!!
So, this is only pencils. I was thinking it might be fun to send scans to three or four artists and get it inked in varying styles. I'd want Sienkiewicz if I can get him, 'cuz I love his inks and have never seen them over Wrightson. Is there anyone who's known for inking Wrightson?
From Bill Sienkiewicz. I don't think it's 100% finished yet, but...
Excellent. I like it!

I got an email from Seth Frail today with the final art I commissioned last January. Very poor communication and tons of excuses but very cool art in the end. I just wish I did not have to go to Bleeding Cool to get it finally done.
Here is the art. Prelims were dated 2012.
It was so much aggravation, it is for sale to offers immediately.
