Got this from boardie Mike Rice. Thanks Mike. This could be my first piece where the seller stated "make an offer".

Well, I guess I am not the only one Rudy knocked it outta the park for! great commission!

I got this in the mailbox. Literally in the mailbox, rolled up all to hell. Next time writing "do not bend" would help Ulises! But anyway, it flattened out really well and is in perfect condition now, it was rolled more than bent so it proved easy to address. so here it is, wonderful as expected but so totally unexpected as Ulises does so well.

Tales from Brave Ulises! Asgardian Storm by Ulises Farinas.

I just paid this off. I had to sell a few to get the $$$ together, but thses pages are classic for me. This is my third page from this book, so I may be done for a while as I have located pages from two other classic issues that need new homes as well.

very nice indeed!

That is one beautiful piece. Congrats!

Well, today I mailed out a 45% down payment to a dealer I had never heard of until I checked this thread. Well down gentlemen! I thank you. (thumbs u This was a real help. I knew of many many of these dealers, but not every one and lo and behold I should have a nice piece soon enough. It will definitely be in my "Best of" on CAF at the end of the year.

So has this thread resulted in anyone finding their art? just wondering. we all need to find our art!

Okay I will try. I just missed out on a grail. I have vowed to not let that happen again. I have already reached out to the owners of 2 others (I have about 5 I guess). So here is my number one, true grail. this is by P Craig Russell and is a double page spread from Ultimate Spider-man Super Special #1 published in July 2002.
I drove a bit earlier this year to ask PCR about it directly and he told me it was long gone! So if you know where it is, tell the owner to come and take advantage of me! Bend me over a barrel, I really don't mind. (Sorry that these seem like rape analogies, but they apply!)

This is fantastic!!!
Thanks. I am going to have a shirt made with this art. Maybe you will see me in it at a show.

Gerry Turnbull colored my Nebres Dr Strange/Dracula piece. In fact he colored it 3 different ways. Here is the cover mock-up he did. Check fedres420.blogspot.com for the others if you'd like to see them
Gerry is on CAF if you want to see more of his work or commission him. thanks Gerry!

Re: I'm an eternal optimist, eh?
Aren't we all?
Yeah, prolly. I still expect to get my Teddy Kristiansen commission, even after 10 or so years. Yeah, I think I still expect to get it. Even I can't believe I am so gullible.

Okay, impulsive purchase announcement. I started the email asking for a micro-commission and somehow ended up ordering a full commission instead. maybe because it is Ulises Farinas and he did this for me in the past
So now I got an Asgardian Storm coming my way. He actually said he would start on it tonight as he has a few days, so hopefully it will be a quick and wonderful piece. I am an eternal optimist, eh?

I know right. spoon eating grin will last a while. Yes, I typed spoon just to save time.

I got a commission today! Thanks to Rudy Nebres for the fantastic work.
Dr. Strange confronts Dracula as he drains The Scarlet Witch!

Nice ! I wanted to bid on a couple of his auctions after I seen the last ones you posted, but he wont ship out of the U.S.
Can you have someone in the US ship it to you?
we don't know each other, but I could send something out in the future.
(geez, that was unexpected. I am in a bad mood and that came out?)

I drove 105 minutes each way to pick up two pre-arranged pieces at Wizard Philly today. Tom Raney called out but is doing my Dr Strange anyway. But I got my Stephen Segovia, thanks to Stephen and Kirk for the help -
and I also got a great Stargirl from Chrissie Zullo. I know she has drawn Stargirl for someone else before, but I got one anyway and am glad I did.
I wrote these up on my blog, fedres420.blogspot.com It makes me sick to type that, but if no one knows no one reads, so there it is.

Okay, when Tony Harris was selling his Shade covers cheaper than normal, I was late but not so late that I missed out. I got a nice one I think, maybe not the best but one of the better ones I think. the color is tremendous, vibrant and sharp. So here I present Shade 10, with Dickie getting quite a shock on the cover!

I got this yesterday. Chris Bachalo doing Dr. Strange! I had coveted it for a while and it was offered in an offhand manner after another deal was going south. But I jumped on that offer and here it is!
The bottom of the scan is cut off a bit, but you get the idea! Frickin' sweet! Now if only Chris would open that commission list again!

I am awaiting a commission done by Richard Pace. he posted it on his blog, so here it is...
Looks great and I can't wait until it gets here (with 2 Starman pages that Richard did as well!)

I just bought 5 Starman pages from a fellow collector who has had them for a few years. I will post scans when they actually arrive next week, but I wanted to crow about the purchase. Now about that Starman 4 cover on ebay...

Well, I am on Thony's list - Doctor Strange and Clea for one and Asgardian Storm for the other. Thanks for making me aware of his work, I love yours and hope I get that bang for my buck as well.
And I pretend to be limiting my commissions and trying to focus on published pieces, but it is hard to break old habits.
