  1. Sure thing! 1.) Try not to fire guns...it just draws attention 2.) If you do fire guns, try not to stay in the same place for very long if you are exposed 3.) Trust no one. 4.) If you want to take a zombie down, get 'em in the brain. 5.) Stockpile food whenever possible 6.) Carl does not like oatmeal. 7.) Cold weather seems to slow 'em down! 8.) When running out of canned goods...try to start a farm 9.) Any place worth having is worth defending 10.) You do not have to be bitten to turn into a zombie...it just happens when you die. 11.) Everyone is lonely. In most cases, just asking for sex is enough to get it on. Think those are the keys to WD...did I miss anything? !! K.
  2. Hawkman posted this in another thread: 1,19,27, 33, 48, 53, 61, 63, 92 are the important books/keys right now (61/63 because of chew). Awesome! Thanks!!
  3. Rookie questions, I know, but can someone tell me wha the keys are for the Walking Dead series? K.
  4. I really wanted to bid but just couldn't justify it at that price. K.
  5. Don't forget the rabid ASM fans. With over 6400 submissions for this book alone, I'd say this is probably one of the most sought after moderns. Even though there's 4 already out there at 9.9, I'd say this goes for between $7-$9K. K.
  6. more than i sold mine for Did you sell a 9.9 recently ? K.
  7. Any thoughts on how much this book will go for? It's only 1 of 4 out of over 6400 submissions!! Amazing Spider-man 300 CGC 9.9 K.
  8. Is the set in NM/MT, 9.8-like condition? K. Is it heating up on ebay? I think it's heating up on the boards K.
  9. Are the Marvel: The End books in NM/MT, 9.8-like condition? If so, would u be willing to part with 'em K.
  10. Touche! Without a doubt, this book is ultra-rare (I'd say you'll only see one more book at 9.8, if that) but sometimes, it's not about how much it sells for but rather, the sentiment. K.
  11. I'm sure ppl would love to have Stan write the same thing but it wouldn't have the same value (not monetary value, just value). Without a COA, even if someone could get Stan to put "with great power comes great responsibility" on the same book, it wouldn't be same.
  12. Click on the first link and check out that article. CGC actually witnessed Stan Lee sign each of these books before they were placed in the polybags and sent out. In my opinion, this is the CGC should be going . K.

    Reholder Fee

I wanted to know what is involved in having a book reholder'ed. Its not really a big issue (I'm just really picky ) but I recently bought a nice silver age book, graded 9.8, and it has the old style CGC case. What I wanted to know is if I submitted the book for reholder'ing so that I get the new case, do I run the risk of having it re-evaluated and possibly having the book come back with a lower grade? K.
  14. I looked into this previously (i live in Toronto). When speaking to the Customs office, they said you only need one of those forms when you take the items across the border yourself. For example, you're driving across the border to visit Seattle and have a really nice digital camera; you'd stop into the Customs office at the border, get a form so that they don't try to ding you in customs coming back. What you should do (and I've done this in past sending books to CGC) is through your courier on their Customs Declaration, declare "Canadian goods being returned, shipped to US for grading purposes only". I confirmed with the local Customs office this is the only way it can be done when shipping it across the border, not taking it across yourself. HTH. K.
