Honestly, I'm wondering if they are scuffs on the inside? If you tilt the book in the light, there are shadows underneath that change in direction and size. Some of them don't really change though..

So, I just got a new slab back, and it looks like there are scuffs or some other marking possibly on the inner well? They don't look like newton rings because they cast a shadow and they don't really refract light like the rings I've seen. In other spots there are newton rings on this book. Any ideas of what's going on? I was thinking of sending it back as a mechanical error. You can kind of see them from the direct pictures. But when it's tilted it's easy to see them.

A grade would be helpful. Getting everyone's second opinion helps me better judge comics in the future. The two things I noticed were the bent corner on the back cover and the blue spot under his elbow on the back as well. Thanks!

Was wondering what everyone thought for a grade? The two things I found were discoloration at the top of the back cover.

Thoughts on a grade? I'm thinking a 9.6. Was a $5 find. There's two marks on the back that I think would know this down.

Thoughts on a grade? Front and back cover look nice but one corner is is crumpled in back and there's and indentation on the front cover and will need pressing. Pages are not white.
