Stupid question. The value is what the market will bear, I get it. For the sake of argument, though, let's say you're looking at a 9.6 CGC SS of a book signed by a popular artist or writer that has passed away. Let's say Michael Turner. Popular guy who has passed. RIP. Let's say there is no sales data to be had for SS and little to no data for the last few years of any grade in SS. How do you price the book, aside from a shot in the dark? Let's say there was a sale of a 9.6 CGC Universal two year ago for $50. A year later, the artist is passed, nothing significant has happened to the property/character like an option, or renewed interest in any way. What is the sig worth? What is a witnessed by CGC sig worth? Would you try for $150 and hope for the best? Would you go higher? Lower?

I looked for myself. It's there. So, this exists. I've held one, not this one, in my hands. Someday.

That Starfire and the Jonah Hex and the COH 7 are three of the tougher ones to track down. The Grimoire cover he did - issue 3 or 4, I was told by the former owner of Speakeasy Comics that they only made 100 of those. I've held one in my hands, so they DO exist . . . really tough to get though.

The OA in the second video is just amazing. That Spirit Cover, the Batman/Spirit pages, the NF stuff. Wowsers. Congratulations, that is quite a collection you have. What are the other artists you have OA of? Any more Sale?

Watched the first video, I'll check out the second one in a few. You have a book I do not, which is that Creator Owned Heroes #7 blue cover. That is a really tough book to find. Lemme know if you ever want to move it or if you know of another copy available. Being a Darwyn complete-ist is pretty tough. I've been working on a checklist of sorts for Darwyn's published comics work. Let me know if you want to see it. I haven't added COH yet nor the Omnibus covers he did. It also has any print run data I could find, ratio info, etc. It's a work in progress, but might be helpful if you want to try to get all of his stuff. PM me and I'll get it to you.

Such a tough book to find. This one is going to take a while for me to get. They simply don't come up for sale.

Tough to come by as well. He puts his full range of talents on display in that book. My favorite single issues are Jonah Hex 33 and 50.

Shockingly, they are still affordable - most can be had for $10 or less. Again, the condition is the tough part. That black border is pretty unforgiving.

Super under-rated and super low print run for his New52 Cover Week stuff. This one and He-Man are the lowest print runs according to ComiChron.I have a couple of these that are 9.2 or better. Dunno if they'd get a 9.8. The black border on all of those books makes it tough sledding for a 9.8. Anyone know how many are in the census?
