  1. DC Comics Presents #47 CGC 9.8 White Pages was sold for $1826!
  2. Sub Mariner 41 - 9.4 W $86 and Captain America 134 - 9.2 OW $32 Thank you.
  3. Yes, thanks. It made me to look up and down then back and forth. It stalled my response in time manner. Officially, Marvel Spotlight 6
  4. This is so confused. I don't know if you included Marvel Spotlight #6. I have to take it without the price and grade.
  5. I used to read this copy and discarded it somewhere. I cannot believe it's hot now. This one and now Marvel Team-Up #131. If I were migmtl76 , I would keep my promise. $1000 is a good deal plus this would save me a lot of time to find a 9.8 copy. Migmtl76 posted his WTB and the seller was misled until the dead end. You have to be careful how you mislead us.
  6. I think the buyer should have waited until the graded book is available and can be visible before the agreement is made but he broke the promise. That put himself in an awkward position. I would take that copy because it has a notorious black cover.
  7. I wished Bomber-Bob was here. He can point out about the corners easily.
  8. Yeah, he used to live in Aurora, IL not far from my home. I was hoping that he was alive to find long missing Flight 2501 that crashed somewhere in Lake Michigan on June 23, 1950. 58 presumed dead. Only hands and one ear were recovered. He searched the wrecked plane twice but failed to locate it. That will leave to Michigan Shipwreck Research Association (MSRA) to continue finding it.
  9. It depends how you handle the book using the solvent, thinner and lighter fluid.
  10. It's good to know! I really don't know what was going on with their money. NY Comics and Rich Henn were easiest to work with.
  11. I was satisfied that all books were handled and signed without a single incident. Of course I was happy with their service except their balance I owed money was way off. I kept trying to prove them that I paid them fully but no avail that forced myself to cease using their service. They DIDN'T pursue me at all. I just heard that they became CBCS facilitators (I believe it was a short time). Yes, I was disappointed. Until you tell me that I should contact CGC about them, I should do that but I love them. I have NO wish to hurt their business but their poor management already hurt their business that cost the relationship with many customers. After ceasing their service, Chandler and I still talked about everything for over ten years included scuba diving. I told him about my scuba diving instruction. He decided to take the scuba diving course and got his certification. I supported him. Also, he had hearing loss and I helped him how to deal with it. I born deaf and I know how to deal with it in my whole life. He was my good friend. I missed him. Next time, I will contact CGC if I have a problem with other facilitators but Desert Wind Comics and NY Comics were my last facilitators ever since.
  12. I loved Chandler and Sharon as the individuals. They were great services while Stan Lee was alive. After Stan Lee's passing, they were not same ever since. They had became sloppy and mismanaged and told me that I owed them money. I never used the credit cards but mailed them checks routinely and kept recording. Showed them my payment records but they couldn't figure it out why I owed them money. I backed off for while but they switched from CGC to CBCS so I was extremely disappointed and decided to cease their service. That was my last time with them in 2017. Yes, they had issues with a shipping handling with me few times. Just a minor but money is a big issue. It's sad that they are not doing well without Chandler but I knew Chandler's health was deteriorating before I quit upon them. Just sad.
  13. The square bound spine is always problematic. I grew up seeing them imperfect but fewest are perfect. The hard core collectors always look for the perfect square bound spines. Not easy to find them.
