  1. Hmmm. I have 1973 poster of MM but my wife is the rarest of the romance comics.
  2. Anybody is interested in my OAAW #240 CGC 9.4 WP? OAAW #240 CGC 9.4 White Pages included Neal Adams Art
  3. Hey War Comic folks, Would you please grade my 6 OAAW books in "Would you share a grade? section" Once I get your estimate grades on my books, I will sell all books on this forum in about a week. Thanks for your time.
  4. Unfortunately....I wished Marvel leaves Spider-man unmolested too! Too many books are overpriced.
  5. That's a good point. I might just do the quick read and flip. The problem is, if I end up liking the series as much as I think I will, I will want to keep them. Don't forget Alan Moore and John Totleben are famous in that series too.
  6. It's five dollars to get the grader's note.
  7. Make Love Not War or Make War Not Love. Let's make love/war!
  8. What a gruesome graphic than any EC Comics I have ever seen!
  9. Yawn, why are there light highlights on the red parts if his costume? It makes it look plastic. I know most old timers don't like Ramos, but I do. I have collected ASM until #700 then SSM ever since but I haven't read after McFarlane Era. What is the fuss about Ramos? His drawing skills?
  10. Thank you for the positive feedback! I hope others will do the same thing for my kudos.
  11. Excellent buyer. Thank you for your confident purchase. Hope to deal with you again.
  12. Hmm, I got ASM #678 Mary Jane Venom, SSM #20 Black Cat, WD #33 Blue background 2nd Print and others. I intend to buy them immediately when they are hot. Some variant issues go down in value but not that often.
  13. Need to find a better video of the leaked convention trailer. Married up with Hans Zimmer's "Time" made this a better release than the actual official trailer. I don't see any Sentinels on this trailer.
  14. There are too many HG CGC copies of 141 and 142 out there. Very unlikely to see any big jump. I really think this movie however is NOT going to give us anything like those issues. Since Bryan Overrated Singer is involved I already have it set in my mind this movie will blows balls. Feel free to rant. I have my doubts, too, and I'm rather hoping they go a different direction from the classic story. Don't forget John Byrnes!! One of his best works! There are parodies of #141 too.

  17. From my experience, I personally like 9.8 copies from late Silver Age and early Bronze but the only thing I am not willing to throw my money away. From the same age group, I can afford on those 9.6 copies for example Batman #227 and Hulk #181 because those prices have been steady for few years - sometimes it does some drops in the price but it is easy to predictable. The price for 9.8 copy is unpredictable and may be unstable. I remember few years ago, ASM #129 9.8 could be sold for $10,000 or more but it is now $5000. Hulk #181 9.8 was insanely overpriced during the time when Wolverine movie was around and the price is now mellowed down. You will never know if the price for 9.8 copies will stay top for a long time. I feel comfortable with the price for 9.6 copies only for late Silver Age and early Bronze Age. After that age group, the price for either 9.8 or 9.6 is never guaranteed. I think the most dangerous age group is Modern. It doesn't matter which 9.6 or 9.8 but it goes down fast and faster. It is just a vibe or fad. I think it is safer to own any books from late Silver or early Bronze in either 9.6 or 9.8. My money too.
  18. I intend to pull the book out of the bag before writing with the marker. Let it dry for few minutes before putting the fresh white board into the bag to see if there is any streak mark on the board.
  19. Hello to War Comic collectors, I am hooked with OAAW, G.I. Combat and OFF since I was a boy. That is about 40 years ago back in 1973. Right now, I own about 900 of them and half of them are CGC'ed. I know everybody prefer Spidey, Avengers, Batman, Superman or any key issues because of marketable and demands. Do you think I waste my money on the war comic books? However, I always love them. Do you think it is mistake to collect them even I won't stop?
  20. Hmmm. Off topic too. Will Robert Kirkman attend NYCC this year? My authorized CGC dealer has my book for just a case.
  21. Today is the buyer's market due to the soft economy. Once the economy is fully recovered, it will be the seller's market. It will be interested in three more years until Obama's 2nd term is over and see what happened in ahead of us. I used to own many doubles like you and others. Now, I am down to singles only. Tough time!
  22. 2402 pages of countless posts on this thread is impressive so I think counting the posts can be something.
  23. Links? This is all from memory, but it happened. I remember the term "art thief" being thrown around and a lot of butthurt. I found the link...thank Google: Swiping So..Anthony Castrillo is the copycat artist and scam artist and con artist as many faces of the artist in general? I thought his name was mafia.
