Do you know when EC started publishing comics? And my 17 year old nephew loves the Barks stories. As for the art in general every age has it Giants and every age has it's stinkers. GA has a ton of great art. I'll let you do more research and compile your own list. Maybe GA isn't to your tastes.

around the 10 minute mark they start talking about this book and how special it is because it has 2 pages of Frazetta art in it? could not find them in my copy.

There are quite a few collectors that always look for comics that supposedly don't exist Keep looking. I personally think the best chances lie in the pre-code comics from the early to mid 1950s, since so many were thrown away in the great 50s witchhunt. Publishers like Charlton and Stanley Morse kept very spotty records and I remember when I first started buying older comics that both Overstreet and the Grand Comics Database had alot of question marks regarding several of the series and what issues existed for each publisher, which really made me focus on them. IW Enterprises reprint books from the late 1950s and early 1960s is another good example. Just a few years ago I found a variant that was not listed in Overstreet or at GCD. I just happened across a different cover at Lone Star Comics, and noticed it didn't match the cover shown at GCD. (Little Eva #10) . I've been told a tale that collector/comics historian Michelle Nolan discovered a preciously unknown Fox romance comic back in the late 90s that was not known to exist, My Secret Life #27. This one, I had always been unable to find, in any condition.. Again, it is a Charlton western though so that may have something to do with it.

I hope people keep overlooking Tarzan and John Carter for awhile longer. I'm trying to finish those series atm.

I was watching this one. One of the last ones I need to complete the series, but a little higher grade than I want in auction for scanning. From the bidding it looks like two people just bid really high to take care of any mid-grade snipers. It is in great shape though too. First one I have seen for sale.

not a recent purchase but one I have been searching many of my boxes for, since I had already scanned the cover Reprints Little Eva #4, Fightin Texan #17 and Wartime Romances #10.

I've picked up several issues of his collection over the years unknowingly, surprised to see COA's fall out of the book or be on the back of the backing board. Also have one with significant water damage' I remember reading somewhere that quite a few suffered from this kind of moisture damage.

I zoomed it. Just I've seen worse looking copies of other books graded above 9 for some reason. Makes me feel better to know that the Church copy is only an 8.
