STOP I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.... or is waterboarding legal
fett replied to I am not Glenda's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
Collectors love posting their prides and joys; that's just human nature, but I am almost daily amazed by some of the books I see posted here. Collecting for many years but I am constantly adding books to my want list that I have never seen or thought of before. I do admit that I browse past just about any GA Batman/Superman or Timely that I see posted. -
Same. Started out as a hardcore FF guy. But some of his 50s work has really grown on me over the years. Big fan of this story and his work on Bullseye. IMO some of his best work. I've always wondered how much some of the great artists of the 50s paid attention to each other. Double page splashes like this one have almost a Frazetta look to them.

Love these.

I think the main point of this trailer was to highlight the -HERo- statement to everyone. In my opinion she doesn't sound like a Captain, based on the few lines I heard in the trailer. I know a couple of female Air Force pilots and they both have attitude.

I don't think you're going to hear a single peep out of them over this as long as they are sending out "These Ugly Blotches Are Normal' replies. They think they are the only game in town and think their customers will keep using their service no matter what. Very arrogant attitude.

Many thanks for this info gents. I've been buying off ebay for along time and didn't know they had started enforcing this insane rule on sellers. My take was always " if you don't want to take best offers, then why have it set up that way?" Do any of your auction descriptions inform potential buyers about this limitation?

What are your more obscure favorite comics? Hidden gems?
fett replied to Bird's topic in Comics General
big Jim Shooter fan-Marvel made sure to shoot this company down before it could get rolling They did not want Shooter and Co. to get another Valiant going. -
after Age of Ultron I didn't see any fans wearing Ultron shirts. I am seeing a ton of Thanos T-shirts-just Thanos on the shirt, no other Marvel character.

so much of Ditko's 50s art was ahead of its' time.

great cover!! never seen it before, and a Robert E. Howard reference as well.

to this day every time I watch Palpatine tell Anakin how strong with the force he is with that little curl and twist in his lip creeps me out, like an old creepy pervy uncle that never married.

I would wager serious dough that most people that didn't care for TLJ would say this was their main issue.
