All are fairly scarce in my experience. I lucked out I think and picked up a #1 and #4 several years ago from the same ebay seller, then a #2 about a year after that. Finally found a decent #3 last year or so.

Amazing that these are over 40 years old now.

Loved these as a kid. I was a big fan of Conan, Shang-Chi and Spidey so some of these were pretty close to the mark, especially Iron Jaw. I remember wondering why people would stand in line to worship a washing machine?

It's been soo long. I totally forgot about that Scrooge. Many apologies to the esteemed Captain DJ (DCM tech guy). I remember when he added the feature now that you point it out.

It's much easier to navigate than the DCM, and you don't have to download anything...just flip pages and read.

I don't think I've ever uploaded any scans or info on there, but I probably should. I have copies of books that don't have any info on the stories.

 

Somebody must have stolen my scan but that is what happens when you post on a public forum. Would have been nice if the poster had asked first...

 

You should try scanning complete comics from your collection and uploading them to DCM for free. Quite a few of the users then download it, smack them all together on a CD and sell them as a "collection' on ebay; or even better print them out and sell them as photocopy comic books.

Sorry just some mild sarcasm on my part on the situation OtherEric describes a few posts down. I know not very many collectors have a desire to spend time scanning alot of comics.

I have a copy and I think Robot_Man has one. There may be other boardies with copies as well, but it's very tough. I doubt more than 10 copies exist.

 

Thanks only saw 1 on Heritage archive and its not indexed at GCD. Do you remember what the interiors are and how many pages? 25c cover price so I assume its a 100 pager.

 

I believe the interiors are remaindered St John books, so the exact contents may vary. Not sure on the page count. Paging Robot_Man!

 

Here's mine. Yes, contents probably vary. Only one I've seen so not exactly sure. Mine has Baker interior art as well if I remember correctly. Too deep to dig out right now so I can't confirm page count but 100 pages sounds about right. Rare as it is, it's not one of my favorite Baker books by a long shot. And NO it's not for sale...
