Looks like a manufactured cover. You can see the tip of the falling guy's shoe from your cover right below the first e in the word adventures on the other cover. It even has the same color as the regular #1. (at the top). Or maybe a weird Canadian reprint?

Here is #8. At one time #2 was rumored to exist, but no copy has ever been found. Charlton had alot of screwy numbering, so when they switched the title, they would skip the inbetween number, in this case #2. The series turned into Fightin' Air Force with #3.

Just an error they did not catch. The indicia has #1 in it, not 101.

 

Those are all great buys! I use to buy Nexus 1-3 (mag) and Xenozoic Tales but stopped after I got my fill a few years ago. I suspect many of these titles will have their day yet!

Now would be a great time for a Xenozoic Tales movie. Just think if Schultz was handed a nice big cash flow maybe he would be able to continue the series on his own. I've always wanted to see how Tenric and Hannah's story carried on. Lots of choices as to who could play their parts in a movie.
