  1. Still looking for a nice copy (just about any) of #11 but I've picked up the rest along the way..
  2. thanks, thats the last Charlton (Sweethearts) I needed, and the girl's face to me looks like some Baker, Was he in the house there that early?
  3. I love the covers in this series. Is that Maurice Whitman?
  4. the tan at the top is the natural coloring of the cover, a little moisture damage on the top left though
  5. picked up the first issue of the series, #9
  6. I finally contacted a couple of the GCD guys (one of them Dan) and lo and behold... Diary Confessions #13 definitely non-existent. Morse comic titles ended 1955, distributor Kable released 4 leftovers all skipping an issue number - i.e, #12 to #14. Diary Confessions #13 was one of the skipped issues and #14 was one of the leftovers into 1956.
  7. Thanks for any info at all about this title guys. It's appreciated. Are you just saying you've never seen a copy of #13 or do you know it was not published? There is definitley a neat little hole where it could have been between #12 and #14 datewise.
  8. Same with #1 and #48. All are overpriced consignments trying to cash in on the OVERhype.
  9. Thanks for the confirmation on that. I came across the Stevenson list awhile ago and noted the #13 and some of the IW romance reprints he has listed that aren't supposed to exist. By chance do you have any contact info for Dan or are you acquainted? Also any idea how old the list in question is? The list I have mentions at the bottom that Michelle Nolan had recently discovered My Secret Life #27. Cover added for that issue on GCD back in 2008, so at least that old.
  10. (thumbs u I entirely agree too. That's truly very sentimental, and I understand what you're saying . . . but Stan Lee is not your mother. Stan Lee is his daddy?
  11. a couple of recent acquisitions from across the pond...anyone ever seen a #13? GCD says it doesn't exist, but it is listed in Overstreet. #14 exists. These 2 are #10 and #11.
  12. Would love to see a high grade copy of #14 if anyone has one.
  13. Here is #8. At one time #2 was rumored to exist, but no copy has ever been found. Charlton had alot of screwy numbering, so when they switched the title, they would skip the inbetween number, in this case #2. The series turned into Fightin' Air Force with #3.
  14. an old friend of mine got me hooked on these 1940s Dells years ago, so I pick them up when I can for the Annie and Tracy strips
