  1. This thread is heating up. Really great mail calls guys. I completely missed that Ghost Rider series he did >_< Jerome
  2. Lesson there, receive money before giving the books back. This is sad, the whole reason why I love CGC is because they help reduce forgers and the like, hope it doesn't spread. Besides, who doesn't like quick, easy money for 2 seconds of work? Jerome
  3. Turns out my friend doesn't 'need' to sell it to buy this camper he wants. Closing thread. If you are interested in the book, shoot me a PM I think he'd still be open to selling it. Jerome
  4. Cool thread! While this certainly wasn't the first comic I read, it was the first one I ever owned. I just kept bumming issues off my buddy to read. Jerome
  5. It's similar in the sense that it's not cut and dry and you can argue that his first appearance isn't in ASM 300. It's similar, but not exactly the same I know. It was the closest example I could think of, sorry for letting you down brah Jerome
  6. Venom. Web Of Spider-Man 18 is the very first chronological mention of Venom who pushes Spidey into a train without his senses going off (I 'think' the fist time that happened?). His first cameo, full appearance (in a still frame) is ASM 299 His "first appearance" is ASM 300 Jerome
  7. So.... Google Chrome implemented a few tweaks a few weeks back. Chrome no longer lets my findmycomic.net site open multiple tabs at once, BOOOOO!!!!! So I turned off the domain all together.....I'm certain this is from my continuous interaction with them to get me on their Google Ads (which they refused since I'm not selling anything). It was fun while it lasted? Jerome
  8. Which means I've had to revert back to a Google Sheet for my CGC Submission Calculator and since I've gotten a few requests to use CCS for pressing cost estimation, I've implemented their costs. These prices reflect the changes coming June 1, 2017. So sub not for discount slabs! Anyway, here's a link to a Google sheet if anyone's interested, and REMEMBER: ALL ITEMS IN RED TEXT ARE REQUIRED TO GET CORRECT RESULTS, TAKE NOTE SOME CELLS HAVE DROPDOWN MENUS https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xmP_HfNI9ahLxHxg3OOT8ci197zP_VNUlSuzbvOD-oU Jerome
  9. Good on the Damian Wayne fellas, that'd be a perfect filler if you had $150-ish left to spend of your $1,000. Jerome
  10. Thread resurrection! I'll be posting a new book in the near to distant future-ish? Jerome
  11. I need to catch up, I think I stopped reading after #110 or sooner. Is the new stuff any good? Also, just killin' time until the WD #1 black label ends on fleabay.....looks like it ended at $3,550 with back to back snipes under 10 seconds, the last $3,550 bid being in the last second, oooohhhh! Is that a new record for a Uni? Jerome
  12. I wasn't sure what to make of them, and still wonder to this day. But I thought for something to get a 9.9 or 10 everything had to be flawless, even manufacturing issues. Jerome
  13. I owned a CGC 10 with a printing defect where the corner atop the spine had frays of fiber poking out Jerome
  14. It's not about winning, its more about seeing killer books and other people's hard work on display #madrespect Jerome
  15. I missed the boat on this one, sadly. I'll try and get it 2nd hand. Jerome
  16. Maybe, maybe not. Depends on the book, but the vast majority of them I'd say so. But you are right, there are exceptions to the rule Jerome
  17. CGC will be there, hopefully more people in the booth than last year. Jerome
