  1. here's my picture http://www.voices.com/people/uchihadesendent my three favorite foods to eat 1. Tacos 2. Pizza 3. Chinese food and for lunch tomorrow I guess a sandwich I can't understand a thing you say in that "Disney" commercial, although I do have the sudden urge for crab and flounder Ok, I can't hold it in....I really have to....I mean I just can't hold it in any longer.... Sorry, excuse me. I need to get back to work now.
  2. My best of advice for you is to stick around here and get to know people for about a year. Sell some books on the forum. Make some buys on ebay or locally and see if you can flip some books....even if you don't make a profit, you've at least built a rapport with people here. What you are doing right now isn't going to reach your goal (if you are really serious). If this is truly a passion and you want to get into the business of comics...take your time and don't expect to make much money until you build some contacts and trust. I can't imagine anyone sending you their prized comic (or even their garbage) so you can sell. I don't want to add to the pile of people who will dump on you about your post.
  3. right now no one but there should be someone on here willing to give me a chance and I've already considered my career options being a voice actor and during slow days I want to sell comics, coins, video games so that when I'm not making money in one area I'll make extra income in another! Good luck. I know I am not interested in sending my comics to: A. Someone I don't know B. Someone with no history of selling comics C. Someone who has no knowledge of comics D. Someone who comes on a message board soliciting strangers to ask questions about their life so they can get people to send them comics E. Someone who wants 20% when I can sell my comics myself here and on ebay. F. Someone who isn't one of the major auction houses or reputable dealers we know Just some reasons why I won't be doing business with you. But, best of luck
  4. Seriously, who in their right mind would send you their comics? You need to reconsider your career options.
  5. True, but it just burns me that people do these things. Of course if I nominate him then I can't relist the book for 30 days right? It would be so nice if a simple comic sale could go smoothly. I'll see if he answers me in the next day
  6. Here is what he wrote about that... "If you want, you can repost the book for sale. I do not want to go on the probie list but I am trying to get this PayPal stuff straightened out as quickly as possible." He doesn't want to go on but hasn't answered me and I'm willing to wait if he needs time... Plus he posted in the thread that he posted take it too quickly as he thought it was a different book...but he would still take it. I hate to have to nominate him but it looks like I might have to.
  7. Hi everyone, Unfortunately I have to ask for an opinion on a recent sale I made. Buyer posts take it and then I PM them to provide the payment info. They say the will pay the next morning. Next morning nothing. I then get a PM saying that his paypal isn't working and that he just found out when he went to pay me. But he said, I should relist the book even though he knows he will get on the probation list. I PM'd back saying I can wait a few days if it will help and that i'd rather not relist the book for sale again. Since that PM was read yesterday, no response and no payment. Should I relist the book? Nominate them to the probation list? I don't know....i've had a string of non payer on ebay and now this one here.... Thanks for the opinions.
  8. I'd love a DD statue in the original suit but that looks very cool
  9. I don't see much of a drop did I miss something? Especially CGC copies are still strong
  10. Look at this on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=161286142303 Spiderman Sideshow (2) Exclusive Busts. Back in Black. NIB. Limited Edition 200
  11. I also want to add that Mark (Kramerica) is an excellent board member and seller. As I posted, he may have slow shipping but I'm okay with Mark. He communicates exactly what is happening and always comes through.
  12. It sounds like several sellers and Kramerica also ships slow. My understanding is he has transportation issues and I am patient with a seller if they communicate sshipping times with me so I know what to expect. I usually ship within one week of being paid (most of the time the next day) but that's just me. I do think people should ship immediately after payment but some have circumstances that prevent that
  13. Also curious Last sale is $5,975 Average is $5,765
  14. I'm enjoying the show a lot now. I like how it's all tied to the movies and I hope it's renewed so it continues up to Avengers 2. I think the network might give it a try to see how much push they can get leading up to Avengers 2 and how much they get after it. At least that's my hope.
  15. First, i'm a fan of the comic book and it's among the only titles I have read the entire (100+ issue) run. With that said,
  16. There wasn't any bait to be taken. It was forced down our throat. Usually when somebody posts parts of a story that hasn't been released, they have the common courtesy of putting a spoiler tag. Fair enough. But it's not the end of the world. That's a crock! It is a big deal. I'm so angry right now for seeing that. I'm not coming back in here until tomorrow night. What a giant tool!!!
  17. Everyone keeps saying Rocket is going to be huge with kids. Parents are OK with their kids watching and adoring a character with huge guns blazing a lot (killing)? I don't see how this would be OK for Saturday morning cartoons. Parents are too busy enjoying their decriminalized marijuana and downloading pointless apps to care what their kids are watching. Rocket Raccoon will do just fine as a cartoon! Some parents monitor what their kids watch like my wife and myself. However, a raccoon with guns doesn't bother me as much as the other stuff my son could watch that is inappropriate.
