  4. I got distracted by the Superman annual with Black Mercy and then it was too late to grab the Usagi, so there would have been more "Take it"s .
  5. Bought some books from Aaron during his annual Halloween sale. This is second time buying during this sale and I'll be back next year for more. Perfectly graded, well packed, and fast shipping, it's an annual tradition that I look forward to.
  6. Not sure I rank with some of the heavy hitters here myself, but here are my top three pick ups for the year. Hopefully pics are ok here. Though a bit lower grade than I was hoping for, the Human Torch is my first Timely. The Superman 12 is just a great Golden Age cover to me and I was lucky to stumble across it for a really good price. The Planet Comics is one of my favorite covers and a nice addition to the run of these that I'm very slowly working on. ( I'm also going to cheat here a little and put my runner ups in this post. In no particular order, these books were ones that I was really happy with amongst several great pick ups throughout the year. Once again, not heavy hitters but I think it's a nice variety. I mean, who doesn't dig a Jungle Comics bondage cover? A Jumbo Comics that I bought raw and had graded and was pleasantly surprised when it graded higher than I expected. And a nice headlights crime cover. Despite some personal stuff I had going on, 2017 was a good year for comics. Looking forward to what 2018 brings.
  7. My sincerest heartfelt condolences Jim. "Don't forget to tell them you care..... for real" are very true words. I've always said the greatest gift you can ever give anyone is time. Never take it for granted and always make sure to tell loved ones and family how you feel, as you never know when you won't be able to. Wishing your and your family the best during this time.
