Thanks for the tag, if I had only logged into the boards yesterday I'd have joined.  I had planned to but got busy and forgot about it. HAVE FUN!!

It definitely seems like some new people are jumping in this year, which is great!
But I do hope we still here from some of the oldies but goodies like @DiamondCityComics, @frozentundraguy, @Larryw7, @THE_BEYONDER, etc before the deadline!

So I'm at Richard Anderson's booth. Super nice guy and very, very well spoken. We start talking about Chuck Connors. I tell him the saddle story. He got a big kick out it. He then says something to the effect, well you know we liked to partake in a beverage during work, as he went through the motions of taking a drink.
Got a picture with him, but I look like some kind of kook in it. Just a bad pic so I blocked my face out. Check out the shirt I have on.
I go over to Laura VanDervoort. No one at her table. I always chat it up with these girls, and try not to act like 90% of the dorks that walk up and say stupid krap while they have drool coming out of the side of there mouth.
So I walk up and look around and said,"is this area under quarantine or something". WTF is going on. We started shooting the krap about her job and this and that. Super, super nice, and very friendly. I wanted to tell her I loved her but my daughter was right there. She took the pic. Now this one turned out great.
See you guys this evening. I'm rolling in ten.
 

Okay, another b.s. story, from The X-Files. Last one. Another Wizard Show, Chicago.
I don't remember what year this was. Anyway, I go up to Sandra Taylor's table. She was a Playboy Playmate, and was in one of Steven Segal's early movie's
Now my daughter was with me again, so I always had to be careful what I was saying to these women. And she watched everything like a hawk. She might have been 15/16.
Anyway, Kevin Nash (WWF) was there too b.s.ing with Sandra Taylor. Nice guy. He kind of was just walking around talking to people. So I walk up to the table looking at the photos and stuff she has. She's staring a hole through my mid section. Then it hit me, she was reading this shirt I had on. It said "I'M REALLY EASY TO GET ALONG WITH - AS LONG AS YOU PEOPLE WORSHIP ME".
She was cracking up, and asked me where I got it. I didn't remember. She said "I want that shirt". I said okay. But first I got to get a decent pic with her, and she signed it, as you can see in the first picture.
I then went over to a vendor that sold shirts right next to where she was, bought a Marvel shirt, put it on, put the shirt I had in the bag and took it back and gave it to her. I said "make sure you wash it first because I'm dirty". She was cracking up, but snatched that shirt up. Now my daughter is watching this whole thing, so I was being careful what I said.
Before we left she had her arm around me and said, "swing back around later." She had another photo she wanted to give me, but couldn't put it on the table. I broke into a cold sweat. I went back about 15 minutes later, and had to distract my daughter when she slide the second pic into my carry case. I didn't even look at it. When I did I'm like 'Holy K rap" LOL. She signed it too.
This thing has been hidden away for a long time. I don't know if I ever showed it to anyone. Second pic could be offensive and R rated. I always squint or close my eyes for pics as you can see.

I don't know why anyone would be mad about the film. It is on par with most of the post-Endgame Marvel films and better than some like Shang-Chi and Ant-Man 3. Basically, a  quality super-hero film like all studios have been producing post-covid.

Shouldn't we be rooting for ALL CBMs to do well?  It's good for the hobby!
I'm more of a Marvel guy than a DC guy, but I have to say I enjoyed this movie (with all of its flaws) more than anything Marvel has done in a while.  There was some very nice fan service put in there.

I've had this for years, bought out a comic shop and this was in the mix.  I actually e-mailed Gold about it years ago, the staff at wherever he was at wanted it but I didn't want to sell it and Gold himself didn't seem to want it back(pretty sure that marriage didn't last).  Thought there were some pretty cool sigs, couldn't identify all of them though.

Just an opinion,  but you shouldn't go then.  The CGI is all you hear about.

Wife and I both liked it,  thought it was a lot of fun.  CGI never bothers me, I mean that was done on purpose in my opinion, but that leaves the door open for ridicule and people can't wait to be the 1st to hate these days.
