  1. From their site (seems to answer your screening question) : CCS offers a Screening service to determine whether your comic book is a suitable candidate for pressing, restoration or restoration removal. The screening fee is 1% of the fair market value ($10 minimum) of the comic at the time of screening. Raw books, CGC-certified books and non CGC-certified books may be evaluated by CCS. The CCS Screening service determines whether pressing should be performed. If CCS believes that pressing would not benefit the comic, you will pay only the screening fee. If CGC-certified books submitted for screening are rejected, CCS will return the book in the CGC holder. Non CGC-certified books will be assessed through the holder, and if they are rejected they will be returned in the same holder. If multiple comics are submitted for screening but only a portion are deemed suitable press candidates, those not receiving service will be held until pressing is complete. This allows the entire order to be transferred to CGC together.
  2. I can definitely get them. Just over $80 with 25 copies and the 1:25 variant. I just have to decide whether it's a smart move. There will probably be some decent heat on it, but I think the pushback allowed a lot more people to get on the train. Still could be a decent long term play as it introduces three new characters who are all part of the new TT team (so hopefully fairly major players......at least one of them).
  3. How do y'all feel about Teen Titans 20 and the 1:25 Crush variant. One ebay seller has sold 20 of them in the last 24 hours at around $40 a pop. If I was going to do that, shouldn't I just order 25 from my LCS at a 20% discount and get 25 regulars and the variant for $80?
  4. If you used Express Drop Off, most posted Monday. If you dropped off old school, it may be a couple of weeks. That how it was for me at SCComicon in March.
  5. I’ve found all except Muppet Babies and Ewoks for $1 or less in the wild.
  6. I've alluded to this in this thread as well. Generally when you find one, you find multiples. I found five together from the same collection and they were all unbagged/unboarded, from the South (high humidity) and all blue. I've seen them with blue/black splotches, turned completely black, etc.
  7. Marvel Spotlight 5 CGC 7.5 OW - $620 shipped - NOW $590 SHIPPED Ezcept for a recent $297 BIN sale from Australia (!), the last 6 sales from most recent are $630, $650, $575, $550, $575, $650.
  8. US Shipping is included. Foreign can be discussed. First wins. No people on lists. Returns only for damaged product upon arrival. All forms of payment accepted.
  9. Yesterday's pricey pickup : Amazing Spider-Man 5, 12, 17-19, 21-26, and 28-700!
  10. It is HER (Cindy Moon's) first appearance. #4 is Silk's, though.
  11. Over 30 slabs sold today of Amazing Spider-Man 4 https://variety.com/2018/film/news/spider-man-silk-movie-korean-american-superhero-1202855335/
  12. I bought a PG27 for $1 a few months ago at a small show on Saturday and sold it at another show on Sunday for $80.
  13. My sales were up 40% over last year even though I had less tables, but moved to an endcap. My stock was much better this year, so it goes to show that if you have the right product at the right price, you can have a great show with a smaller footprint.
  14. I told a buddy of mine from my hometown about you as he has been in search for a FF1 for some time. He ended up buying one from you during the show! And hopefully that individual who shall not be named pulled the trigger on that big slab at the end of the show on Sunday. If so, I'm sure that helped! Sam
  15. Thanks for the shoutout (and the cash)! And Earl didn't want to sell out, but was forced to due to a death in the family.
  16. Endcaps were already $900 if you didn't pay before 12/31, If you did, you got it at last year's price of $850. As long as you're talking about a particular dealer from GA, he had TONS of better books. They were on the backside of the main tables and facing where his wall would normally be. If you went by on Sunday, all that stuff was gone and all that was left was the $2/$5 which was now $1/$3.
  17. A) I knew that was coming, but it was still at the show and I was home. 2) Just because this pic exists doesn’t mean I bought it from a $2 box (but I did and people saw me)!
  18. That was me too. I just find being upfront can save a bunch of time for all parties involved. Thanks for the cash. Hope to see you again next year!
