  1. Why the heck is ASM 795 Hulk cover bringing $40?!? I'm pretty sure I'm going to dig the Red Goblin character, but this is just Carnage bonding with Osborne and a 1:1 variant.
  2. Definitely some tempting books in this thread, but I'm not buying anything where I can't see the whole spine and all four corners. You would have a lot more success posting these with margins around the books.
  3. Yes. Silver Surfer is much more recognizable than Moon Knight and on a much more even plane with Black Panther. You picked a terrible character to use as your example.
  4. THIS is reason 986342 that I refuse to buy new Marvel books off the shelf. Anything I am remotely interested in ends up in $1 bins at cons in a few months anyway.
  5. I can't believe this is even a debate. Today, it's not even close. 5 years ago, it was obviously closer, but I think it was still miles apart. Use the common man on the street test. 10 years ago, significantly more people would be able to ID Black Panther versus a tiny fraction (less than 1% I would guess) could identify Moon Knight. After he showed up in Civil War, it was Game Over.
  6. Excellent as always. Frank always comes through with fast/secure packaging and great prices!
  7. This movie resonates huge with African-American movie goers, at least going in to it (I can't say afterwards as I haven't talked to my co-workers about it yet. However, I know my son and I were sitting next to a AA women in her 60s who was there alone. My guess would be that she hadn't been to any other MCU flicks. I had people at work that know of my comic background and have never spoke to me about any of the MCU movies wearing matching homemade King/Queen of Wakanda shirts to the movie. This is a perfect example of diversity being a huge benefit in selling tickets as you get all your normal comic audience plus a huge portion of people who had no interest in comic movies at the theater before.
  8. Bought a Venom Lethal Protector Gold and it arrived double boxed and full of packing peanuts. Secure and fast shipping. Completely worry free. Thanks!
  9. I searched around but couldn't find an answer. Was it one per store or 1 per every certain amount of copies ordered or what? I know the inside front cover says there were 11k printed so I was wondering how they got out there.
  10. Probably why a 9.8 sold for $500 a few days ago! and mine has it too. Same spot
  11. Yep. I was editing the post as you were correcting me. Thanks.
  12. Never mind. I missed the Avengers 3 being taken.
  13. I just bought all these so I’m pretty happy. Scrooge 1-36 and then another 75 misc issues were there with multiples of most in the 1-36 range. Multiples of the Barks FCs too. About 150 WDC&S too. That should ALMOST finish my Scrooge run. After this, I should be down to less than 20 issues with 179 being the only pricey one.
  14. I didn't even know this existed so pretty surprised to see it in a $1 box today
  15. That's another one of those titles that make you say "that title went X issues" like Barbie, Heathcliff, Beavis & Butthead, etc
  16. Finland is the big one for Donald. He's the number one pop culture figure in the nation. There are full page ads in the national newspaper for the upcoming issues of his comic. Most comics aren't for children in Europe as they're read mostly by teens and adults (even the Ducks). In Europe, Don Rosa is as popular as any American artist is here. When he does come in the States, he even wears a shirt that says something like I'm huge in Europe (especially Finland).
